Yeah, I’m pretty sure that Cozens will be on the Sabres. Quinn might just end up playing in the OHL. He also might score over a goal per game with no checking. He could try to find a team in Europe, but spots in Europe might be tight. A lot of players have had that idea already. You don’t want Quinn just going anywhere over there. It needs to be the right situation for his development or it’s not really worth it.

I feel like you are putting too many people in one bucket. Leftists, the board, very broad strokes. This is an issue with mass social media. One person says something bombastic, and 10 million people can see it. Of course the most extreme comments get the most attention. The most extreme 5% of opinions on any topic can dominate the discussion of the subject. The “silent majority” for lack of a better term, get buried. Case in point, the bolded. I don’t believe that Trump ever showed any inclination to try to bring the country together, he consistently tried to do the opposite. That’s precisely one of the reasons for the “temper tantrums”. To try to pin the responsibility for Trump failing to bring the country together on the nations democrats would be laughable. Who is proposing communism???!!! I can understand a desire to limit immigration, but do you think that immigration of yesteryear had little impact on American culture? They tipped over the melting pot big time. Isn’t Italian/Irish/Polish/etc cultures still alive and active in America? I can certainly sympathize with you to an extent though. I do often feel like the world is changing faster than people know how to handle and it can be a bit destabilizing.

I’m with these who say that Skinner has a higher ceiling than Reinhart, but that Reinhart has a higher floor. I can’t envision Reinhart falling apart like Skinner did last season, but I also can’t imagine him going OFF for 40 goals. Overall, I’d call them close to equal, but very different types of player.

Billionaires, especially those who attempt to acquire tax payer dollars for their projects, are not going to go out and publicly say that they are making tons of money. They are going to point to all of their expenditures and paper losses, in order to justify the public funds they receive. Its possible that the Pegulas really have lost money on the Sabres, but I can’t see why I should believe them when they say so.

But it’s not a one way contract. It’s a 2-way contract. The answer may be as simple as Johansson is going to stay in Europe for the season and/or they wanted someone they knew they could expose in expansion. Also, with the condensed schedule, I think the possibility of a season with expanded rosters and possibly using/carrying 3 goalies at times is very real. Chill everyone, it’s just Dustin Tokarski on a 2-way contract.

It’s not a “prospect list” though. It’s players 23 and under with an NHL games played limit of .....150 or something like that.

At age 17, in his age appropriate junior league, he had 6 goals and 10 pts in 9 games. He also had 5 goals and 9 points playing 45 games in the SHL, a men’s league of roughly equivalent talent level to the AHL, as a 17 year old. Thats pretty good. It’s not easy to play against men as a 17 year old.

At the time he was drafted, Davidsson was a totally reasonable 2nd round pick. He was not obscure or unknown.
