One problem is Rhino value is lowered significantly I think by his contract status. We may be paying for not having signed him to a long term contract before.

I would like to have both Jack and Sam stay. Sam would have to agree to extension or, unfortunately, he needs to be traded. We then need to take care of our goaltender issue. Add to that further development of our younger players and I believe you have a respectable team at the least and a possible playoff team.

Agree. I posted days ago the best way to go would trade Risto to protect Borgan. There must be a reason it wasn't done before the expansion draft.

Agree we need to replace that physicality and suspect we can. I just think they have better value in trading Risto. Protecting him made asset management sense.
