Could it be us fans go by established names? Teams many times don't hire who we would want. BB for instance. He may eventually get hired but for most of us that would have already happened. Gallant was the one guy I'd maybe pick over the guy we already have. Not sure he was interested in us or we in him. Granato is the guy that at this point looks as good as anyone for me.

Unfortunately this is very possible. I hope he would accept a good offer but I'm doubtful.

That's true but the minority can ruin it for the rest. They need to quit almost promoting it as "great fans". One of the reasons I don't go to games is the unruly drunk fans. Some I think the game is secondary to the party.

I had my "widow maker artery" stented now almost twenty years ago but my heart damage was minimal. Sounds like this could be severe. Prayers for him.

He did ok figuring he was using goalies walking off the street practically. I think you overestimate the team Granato had to play with and underestimate the improved play of many young players the previous coach didn't utilize. Frankly I think you're against anything connected to this franchise.

What's wrong? Both sides have probably some blame here. My impression of Jack? Super talent. Probably needs to mature to blend that talent to be a leader. Played hardball a bit and went public for no valid reason except to set the stage for his departure. Franchise under ownership of the Pegulas probably by their poor management caused a negative atmosphere in general. Still Jack didn't need to give that exit interview which I think was for only selfish (immature) reasons. I know for me personally that was my first turn in questioning Jack's motives. Sure KA was not happy about that and probably other behind scenes things.

My concern has always been our management having the ability to build a team rather than collect individual talent. I do have concerns about this revolving door management. I do have hope still that Adams and Karmonis may be able to stabilize things. If not we'll be wheel spinning. The owners need to take responsibility for failures to hire the right management over their tenure and this may have been their last chance.

A bloated staff on a last place team. Glad he gutted a bloated ineffective scouting department. That's not penny pinching it's just smart. So sick of taking any stretch of facts to just bash people. There's several posters who aren't here to discuss hockey or our team but only to crusade against the owners. We've heard it over and over a drumbeat that with me has lost any effect. I've been critical of ownership myself but don't need to make things up.
