I have to agree. Hammy has repeatedly been critical of ROR. I'm glad that he's not the one orchestrating any possible deal for him. Overall I'm not that critical of Hamilton but on this I'm not in agreement.

Agree. Men!!! Why as a man do find men's humor so offensive at times. I fortunately never had this particular problem but my wife did and it was a difficult thing for her with lasting effects. The saying goes "beauty is skin deep, ugly goes straight to the bone".

Prefer? No contest if just objective observation.......ROR. He is simply the better player at this time. The polls question is much to simple. This is not would you trade one or the other. Who is the better player? ROR hands down. Age,salary etc.are variables but Sam at this point is not close to ROR as a player.

Just how important is it that teammates get along? It's nice if they do for sure but I'm sure most teams have had players who aren't buddy buddy.

In other words the game itself is no longer enough. It's about money and they want it from fans of the game or people who just want something new and now something blue. This and commercials have started to make me less and less an active fan.

My point is celebrities get attention other groups don't.

True enough I'm using him as an example. You don't need an "elite" goaltender.

Okay. I'm of the belief that you don't need a Cary Price type goalie. We should look for a Fluery type. Is he elite? No but definitely an upgrade to what we have. By the way his early playoff performance was much better than I think he really is. He could have been had relatively cheaply at one time I believe.

Must admit to listening to more Sabres hockey than watching. So for me a double frustration. One, having to listen to Dunleavy call a game on radio and two, the futility of this season. I will set my expectations better for this season. Just give me some young players who are at least entertaining.

Exactly. Build on the core we have. The problem with our team is our depth players and need for more scoring on second/third lines. Upgrade our goaltending. Trading ROR and Risto doesn't make sense to me unless it's for an unbelievable deal that I don't envision.

I sincerely hope so. Trading ROR for anything less than overpayment would be upsetting to me. Extremely hard player to replace. Don't want to hear about his being slow look at his play. His end of season comments while good ammo for talk shows I am not overly concerned about but if he's a problem I'll trust our GM to evaluate those things. Gossip amoung men is past off as discussion amount women it would be gossip. Great post.

Choking on that one. The previous post exchanging the 2nd for their 3rd overall has me more than excited but I'm sure Montreal is far less excited about that. I'm not for trading ROR unless it's for something I'm not expecting to be offered
