Every single time I run the draft simulator, if I don't take Yurov at 9, he goes to Winnipeg at 14. I must've run it 25 or 30 times. Of those 25 to 30 times McGroarty was the choice at 16 every single time. I realize it's a simulator, programmed by one guy. It is how it turned out though. So much so that I stopped trying because it got boring. I got McGroarty at 16 25 times in a row.

I disagree. I see people up in arms over school taxes all the time. I have a person running for governor in PA who thinks the average teacher salary in the state is too high and wants to reduce per pupil spending to Mississippi levels. He plan is to eliminate property taxes that currently go directly to local schools and replaces them with...wait for it...NOTHING. None of that is hyperbole, it's come out of his mouth. This isn't a fringe candidate, this is the person who won the GOP primary.

He had the right to make that decision all along. What he didn't have was the right to tell his employer who held the long term liability for tens of millions of dollars what to do. FWIW it wasn't "the team" who didn't agree. At the end of the day the only person saying yes or no to 50 million dollar decisions is Lord Terrence. It was 18-19 wasn't it?

FWIW, Lindy Ruff HATED Nichuskin. I don't know that I care, but I know there is a faction here that still wants to see Lindy as President of Hockey Ops so that should matter to that group.
