Getting back into F1 racing on Netflix. Season 3 just fired up. I was never an F1 fan but I like this show, behind the scenes of this big money enterprise.

I say give him a shot. Team defense has been weak but he may do OK and the exposure will give him a taste of the “show” and let him know where he is at and what he needs to work on. I watched him play in the OHL and he looked like a solid prospect. He carried the Sudbury team for that season. This is a major jump from junior and he hasn’t stunk in Rochester.

I think Hall can fetch a first but Stall’s stock has fallen. KA may have to play hardball and hope Stall’s reputation is still solid. If other teams use this board for research, Sabres would be lucky to get a third.

One more meeting like this and the team will have herd immunity, increasing the value of our UFAs.

Keep all of our Swedes, draft Eklund and hire Gronberg as coach.

It has to be a confidence issue. The raw tools do not disappear. I watch him closely when I can and he is lost. He was never strong defensively but his offensive creativity made me look the other way. He is an artist not a tradesman. Needs to be let loose and go create. He needs to be paired with a Girardi clone but maybe Dan can help get him going.

Skinner comes out with his hair on fire and has his best game of the season, 2 goals and an assist. Sabres lose 5-3 but show some heart.

Actually I did not listen to those guys. I read a Hockey News article about Karlsson. I know there is a $2.5 million difference but I think Karlsson is better than Skinner.

Skinner and Montour to the Sharks for Karlsson and a pick. Two contracts that suck but Karlsson can mentor Dahlin. I realize there are NTCs involved but both teams are disappointed with these big deals.

The drafts are always a challenge and this one will be more so due to lack of games and scouting. I would compile as many picks as possible to stock up the prospect base. This is considered a weak draft by some but there are always good players. Some kids haven’t been playing but may have worked out like crazy and added significant strength. Others may have grown multiple inches. Other teams may undervalue picks but there is always value. A late round pick may turn out better than a first rounder whose development has flattened. Is this the year another Zetterberg is found? I think it is more likely this year due to everyone’s lack of scouting. However, will the Sabres find some hidden gems? I am also tired of waiting on draft picks to develop and make this team good again but what is the alternative?

This has been the most challenging year for me to follow this team. My expectations were to compete for a playoff spot, not to get a top 3 pick. I am trying not to pile on but they are really pi**ing me off. I usually try to find a humorous view on things but I can’t, unless I come here and read some of the posts. Thanks to all who are trying to get through this **** show with whatever coping mechanisms you use. I struggle to harass the Leafs fans that surround me because I have no ammo and they actually feel empathy towards me. This is a new low. Anyway, let’s go Buffalo! Keep it under a 4 goal differential.

I would like to provide input but my scouting involves the OHL so I have not seen any of these guys play this year. It is so sad that this will now be my go to thread, again.

I would even give Babcock a chance to revive his career. I would not like helping the Leafs by paying their ex-coach. I know they have mountains of money but I still hate them more than this current Sabres team.

Looking forward to Hockey Night in Canada tonight so I can watch hockey without being totally pi***d off!
