I want them to re sign Ullmark and get another good goalie. Ullmark still has some upside and his numbers could be solid with a healthy season.

Heiskanen got $8.45 x 8. A lot of money in this flat Cap world. 95 career points in 205 games. Dahlin 107 in 197. His agent is licking his chops. Heiskanen does a lot of things well but he has shortcomings too. He didn’t lead his team to the playoffs this year after a deep run.

Seattle should take him. He still has some years left and would be their MAF. He may like being closer to his family and not being under the microscope of the Montreal media.

I hope they have a better plan for the goalie than Tokarski and UPL. There must have been a deal to be made for a better goalie. I thought there was a chance of signing Ullmark but kind of doubt it now.

I was all in for Rossi last year so if he is 100% that guy is a potential 1C or 2C. Reuniting him with Quinn could benefit both guys. I’m sure there would be a little bit of chirping in the room about draft order. Maybe Karmanos and Ventura have told KA that Rossi was higher on their boards.

I went for Beniers at 1 because he is centre and could be our Toews. I went Eklund next due to the skill level and because he is a forward. I am not opposed to Power or Hughes if they need a Dman. I am not in favour of choosing Clarke or Edvinsson.

Nedeljkovic is one that should be explored. Young goalie had a good season and a decent playoff. He is going to improve and is still cheap.
