Go goatheads! I want Asplund to have a solid game so that DG has to consider scratching VO or Mitts when Skinner comes back. He isn’t scoring much but is not the liability those two are.

I like tradition but it is time. I vote for Wayne Gretzky. Norris becomes the Bobby Orr. Selke becomes the Bob Gainey. Adams becomes the Bowman. Conn Smythe becomes ??? All of these greats are still alive and it would be great to honour them. create one for defensive defenseman and call it the Rod Langway. Campbell bowl and Prince of Wales can remain as they are really meaningless.

I get this. I retired 4 years early because I hated my job, management work did not suit me but it helped my pension. I am back working part time at the entry level position and loving it. Anyway, winning will make them want to be here, so just start winning.

Sabres need to get back on the winning path to give everyone some hope. Hopium is good for the fanbase. Dahlin with another multi point game to get back on track. Sabres win 5-3, because they have to score 5.

Health has been Murray’s biggest issue the last 3 years. Don’t burst their bubble, the parade plans are well underway. I agree with this statement. Comrie has not been good but it is very early in his evaluation.

Brad May in his prime could play in this era. His energy would be nice and he could drop the mitts if asked.

His production is so much higher than his last few years. I really like Horvat and he is the type of player the Sabres need. However, I don’t think the Sabres will offer him what he wants and his role on the team would be 2C, blocking Cozens. Way too much money for a 3C, which Horvat would be for the Sabres.

One of Kulich’s teammates on the Czech team is G Tomas Suchanek, who was at one or two of the Sabres camps this summer. His numbers in the WHL this year are similar to last season’s but he is getting more wins. I’m going to keep an eye on him. Obviously a project, the Sabres lack G prospects, especially if Portillo goes to UFA.

If Skinner is out I would put VO on PP1 as an alternative to TNT one timer. Quinn would work as well but that side sets up better for a lefty.

I missed this one but was following the summary online. It seems like they should have buried them early, I saw the shots were like 12-2 in the first. I guess Jarry held his team in it until they got their feet moving. Let’s get them tonight, win in regulation in their barn. I think the Sabres need to find their offense for UPL.

That has got to be the most bang for the buck in the NHL this year. There may be some guys on ELCs having good years but TNTs production is top notch.

He was on the WJ team with Cozens, Krebs and Quinn. He was an Olympic teammate of Power’s. I am sure he watches the Sabres as much as he can plus gets a lot of communication from development staff and KA.
