Agree that AM is softer than charmin. I don’t think he needs to drop the gloves but skating away is pretty wimpy. He is 6’3 210 for Pete’s sake, a little bit of face washing would prevent some of the abuse and he would get more respect. Like @Weavesaid, he has a very punchable face. I can’t wait until he bails on the Leafs so I don’t have to see him all over the news here.

I can’t believe this either. My trade pays similar money and requires on call and unplanned overtime for storms and trouble. That is a deal breaker for many people, they just want to work 40 hours. Double time means nothing yet they have huge mortgages to pay. They would rather have time off than money. I realize there needs to be balance in life, I worked way too much, hoping to provide a better life for my family. The purpose of the job is to provide an almost essential service to people, electricity. A lot of people I see working crazy hours are retirees, earning extra money but taking pride in keeping the lights on. There are many companies specializing in power restoration, staffed by retirees.

I’ll watch hockey as much as possible but that game does not interest me. With a gun to my head I would cheer for Vegas because Toronto is in the Sabres division. I would like to see Eichel vs Matthews in an NBA style slapping fight.

Cozens hit on Matthews after his scuffle with Dahlin was one of my favourite memories from last year.

Auston Matthews is way behind Dahlin for the Rocket Richard trophy, they have to hold on for a week or so before the Leafs fans MVP chants turn the tide.

The only time I’ve seen Fantilli play was at the U18s. He was way behind Bedard from a skill perspective. Michkov was impressive at the 2021 U18, matching Bedard’s performance.
