My birthday was Monday and my son got Marty Biron to send me a video birthday greeting. As he likes to talk, Marty spoke for 5 minutes.

Really wanted Edmonton to lose. I can never root for McDavid. Have to root for the Rangers and Dallas, but I’ll root for whoever wins in the East for the Stanley Cup.

Chandler Stephenson could be the veteran center they need for their 3rd line, with the ability to move up or play wing when needed. Good at face offs and penalty kill. I can’t believe VO made almost $5 million. 😳

The name they should use is so obvious; the Utah Buzz. It’s bee-related, would provide a good logo, and aligns with the Jazz. An off the wall name is the Utah Polygamists. Their logo could be a male skater flanked by 4 female skaters.

I doubt that the Amerks would play Savoie in a series deciding game.

It has to do with tv scheduling and arena availability. The league wants at least one game on every night, but no more than one east and one west.

Can’t the Bandits win a face off? They look like the Sabres.

I like Canada, just not their NHL teams and fans. Especially Toronto and Edmonton.

That sucks that Nashville lost in the last 2 minutes, creating a series with 2 Canadian teams. Guess I’ll have to root for Vancouver over Edmonton.

It would suck if the Sabres pulled the trigger too early on Lindy, and Rod ends up in Toronto.

ECHL affiliate Jacksonville had an epic collapse in their best of 5 playoff round. Up 2-0 in games, they lost the last 3, including the last 2 at home by scores of 4-1 and 4-0.

They had to tell Okposo how the handshake line worked.

I’m hoping Lindy hires a quality assistant coach with defensive experience like Jay McKee.
