  1. I don't want Murray to go after McDavid. It would be bad if it didn't get done and became public. How would Eichel feel? This way Eichel can play with a chip on his shoulder trying to prove he's better.
  2. Oilers will probably try to trade a forward for D. There should be a rule that you can't have the 1st pick more than once every 5 years.
  3. Winning is gravy, but please no shart with Leafs, Bruins, or Flyers winning.
  4. That woman on Hockey Central is smokin' hot in that tight dress. Made me forget the lottery for a minute.
  5. @ByKevinAllen: Senators' Mark Stone broke his wrist on P.K. Subban's slash http://t.co/YV5I36Ud1pvia @usatoday @Real_ESPNLeBrun: Chris Neil skating on fourth line in practice. Might see him I guess in Game 2 Subban better keep his head up. Will he face the challenge or hide behind his teammates as usual.
  6. Subban has always been a punk who gets away with taking cheap shots and then running away when challenged. If one of the games gets one sided, an Ottawa player should chop Subban and if they're consistent the refs should give him the same penalty.
  7. Calgary takes 2-1 lead with 30 seconds left in 3rd. Sam Bennett with assist.
  8. Who's the big lady who sings the anthem in Montreal? They bring her out for big games. Is she their version of Kate Smith?
  9. If they're determined by the democratic process to be the best candidates from the group of people willing to run, then democracy is fine. It's not their fault if others don't run against them. And they aren't carbon copies; Jeb is smarter than W and more moderate than his father, and Hillary is more conservative than Bill. To be fair, how about the congressional "dynasties" such as Ron and Rand Paul. In fact, about 10% of all Congressmen have a relative who also served in Congress. Just as children often follow their parents in the same profession such as doctor or mechanic, so it is with government.
  10. Now this is an example of a swipe: 'After his a 15-minute exit interview with Berube at the team's practice facility in Voorhees, Lecavalier basically said the two could not coexist if the coach returns. "It's fair to say," said Lecavalier when asked if his best chance to be successful was to stay here if Berube is fired or move elsewhere if the coach returns.' 11. Ted was only hired by one GM; Jonh Muckler. The Isles owner hired him, and then Pat hired him in Buffalo. For whatever reason Ted doesn't see eye-to-eye with the GMs he's worked for, which is fine but costs him jobs. He was given an extension which he signed to get Buffalo through the tank, and he either disagreed with or didn't understand the team plan. But in the end he has a nice compensation package that would last most of us the rest of our lives, and he'll have time to work on the business venture he's starting with his sons.
  12. Good guy in a tough situation. He's the type of coach you'd want your son to have. But GMTM was brought in to do a job, and that includes having a coach he's confident can improve a young team.
  13. The only teams I would be OK with are Arizona, San Jose, Columbus, or Florida. All teams that have never won a Cup. I would absolutely hate for Philly, Toronto, or Boston to get him.
  14. Of course if the Jets win, we'll have to hear about how they got the better of the deal, and typical Sabres letting good players go, until Kane gets back to his potential.
  15. I don't mind Gionta showing compete and setting and example as a leader. He did it the right way. I don't like Weber saying what he did, especially when his play has contributed to the Sabres being bad.
  16. Villie Leino. He was so invisible when he was on the team, Nolan still thinks he's taking shifts.
  17. I would rather see the Pens in the playoffs instead of the Bruins. Pens are ahead by 1 point, but if they tie in points Boston wins the tiebreaker. If Boston wins, Pittsburgh needs 2 points. If they lose in OT, Pitt needs 1, and if they lose in regulation Pitt needs 0. So the most exciting scenario would be that the Bruins lose in OT, and the Sabres win in OT, and Pitt still makes the playoffs.
  18. Forgot them. Yeah, Ottawa and Pittsburgh instead of Boston.
  19. I'd like to see Pittsburgh get the last playoff spot instead of Ottawa. Watching Crosby and Malkin in the playoffs is always entertaining.
  20. I'd give the Rocket Rishart to Jonathan Toews for those 2 late goals last week.
  21. Could we petition BU to sit Eichel tomorrow to keep him safe?
  22. I want a certified letter from Bettman assuring that the Sabres finish 30th even if they tie Arizona in points.
