So we are supposed to wait three more years for our core to develop and complete their game? I said it the other day but our perspective in Buffalo is so warped with all of the teenagers and twenty year olds playing games the last decade. The average NHLer is probably just finding his footing at 25.

Harbaugh has arguably had more success in the NFL as a head coach than McD. But I think you’re right, no changes will be made.

If our billionaire owner can’t afford Jim Harbaugh maybe he can just ask the state for a few more bucks so we can make him the leagues highest paid coach.

In all my pain of the Bills loss I am reminded that how much I care about them pales in comparison to how much I care about the Sabres and it all hurts that much more. I hate Terry Pegula.

If the choice is between keeping Granato or hiring Roy I’ll stand pat. I don’t think Granato is a very good coach and I’ve been saying that since October of last season. I just don’t think Roy is an upgrade. Also the Islanders are a better team than the Sabres and should absolutely get more points than the Sabres. It would be an utter failure on the entire Islanders organization if they didn’t outproduce the Sabres.

Not only does the nfl not pay artists for halftime shows but I heard last year that it’s often labels paying the NFL for the privilege of lipsyncing to millions.

Not sure where it came from but ive always felt you need 4 years to evaluate skaters and 6 years to evaluate goalies. Seems like our former top goaltending prospect is starting to realize his potential.

I think the answer is sign Casey and see what happens when push comes to shove with Cozens and the cap. To the bold, I’d say our best draft and developments are already elsewhere. I think a lot of people around here look at a 23-25 year old with 5+ years of NHL experience as a finished product because they have 5+ years of experience. That might be true of the average player coming in at 23, but not with guys coming in at 18-19. Look at almost any player who was in the league in their teens. They end up being a completely different player by the time they are 28 and usually just starting to peak. Because to play in the league at that age, you usually are already pretty exceptional. It’s unusual to have a team so consistently filled with youth like we have. We’ve lost touch with reality.
