Hot take: Having Fiala, Greenway, and Dumba even without the prospects over the life of Eichel's contract would put the Sabres closer to the playoffs than having Eichel over that same period. Don’t tell me about war and service and not understanding when you have no idea of what I've done for my country. See you’re all about that dollar whereas when I get off of work I go volunteer for ten hours a week, happily, to continue to develop my perspectives and give back. I think there's definitely something to this. It's a lot easier to get 20 guys to pull in the same direction over the course of 15 days than 200. Maybe some it is these are the coaches that have the most time to spend "behind the scenes" of the team building aspects (like organizational like the opening of Miracle).
