Was that so hard? Thank you for enlightening the board. I disagree with this opinion but can see why it may be a concern with some. Hard to say Jack wilts when he is putting up numbers and controlling play. ROR some say is hurt and gutting it out. This does not seem like wilting. Coming from behind as often as they did earlier is also in apposite of that. I do think they may have forgotten that the other team cashes game checks too from time to time, but I equate that with still being relatively young.

The Hawks were a basement team for alot longer than 1 and 1/2 years. They had accumulated assets over that time in the form of Keith and Seabrook. They hired Denis Savard post Kane and immediately fired him. The thing that made the Hawks great was a lopsided backloaded contract for Hall of famer Marian Hossa. That type of contract is no longer an option in the new CBA. The Hawks were irrelevant in Chicago for a long time not to mention in the league. Hossa and Q fell into their laps and that is what made them turn it around. Maybe Julien was similar serendipity but there is no reason to believe he would have signed here and we know Babcock didn't. The Hawks and Leafs are similar in that both were horrid for a long time and reaped the benefits in the draft. Buffalo took a bold step to retool under the new CBA and quite frankly are quickly rebuilding. But the idea that because you want quicker results does not negate the issue that part of that plan was to have contracts that would be holdovers until they expired. That may be able to be fixed but I think only time will get us out from under Moulson Ennis and Gorges. The Hawks are a different era.

Sssshh...don't let facts interrupt good drama. And why is he being moved? He is too slow and doesn’t fit the up tempo game Dallas plays. Sure send us another Gorges. I have watched him and he is not an upgrade over anyone except Gorges. And at what cost? Futures that you say we have pissed away? If you are looking for insurance against injury it is a good move, but not a significant improvement for a young team that needs faster transition out of there zone.

Be wary of Teuvo. Second team that sees him as expendable. Skilled but hasn't adapted to NA physicality.

This has been evident since Jack was out. We could field one decent line. He comes Back we have 2. I also think ROR is underperforming at an epic level in light of what he is getting paid.

We are also paying 11m for a face off guy. If he is hurt he shouldn't play. If he plays he has to produce.

You dont believe he is fine? Or are you lamenting that he is not coached by Babcock? I can't be bothered by Matthews and TO. Jack may be the most valuable player to his team in the league. As the supporting cast gets better, so will his numbers. A new view at the top, i.e. HC, would help, but so would a serviceable NHL bottom 4.
