We have been historically bad for over a decade now, and if that wasn't bad enough, we're blowing up the fantastically failed rebuild to tank again. We're lucky they still keep us in the league.

We're getting less for all 3 than the vast majority of posters think. We overvalue our chronically last place players.

More apt and recent comparison would be Brayden McNabb. Young defenseman we developed and gave up for nothing. He's had a nice career.

Have we had a decade of Gunds? Thankfully this is a proud, strong hockey market, but I think they've tried their best to kill it through sheer prolonged incompetence. -
Are there teams that only have goalie protection issues? Columbus? Montreal? Florida? Carolina? Rangers? Gotta be someone who'd take a draft pick over nothing.
