I’m lucky enough to be ten rows behind the Sabres bench. Very entertaining in the rink. One day you’re up the next you’re down. Dahlin was the worst player on the ice that period. Won’t be saying that often.

Are you suggesting that Botterill and Housley didn’t have an issue with O’Reilly and would have preferred to keep him but Pegula gave them marching orders?

I bought a ticket package for the opener that included some fun extras. Two Sabres pucks were part of it. Both the Sabres folks and I forgot about the pucks. This morning I got an unsolicited apology from the Sabres for the mistake and was told the pucks are in the mail.

There is a video available on the Sabres website from a couple days ago where PH mentions having the day off and maybe doing something special. Some sort of team building exercise or the like.
