Quick to CBJ?

Didn’t get to watch because of some out of market thing but saw the highlights. Cozens did very well controlling the puck close to the net. He didn’t panic and made the right play showing composure. Specifically on his third goal I can see average players one timing it but he took the time to throw a deke in tight.

Could this be an opportunity for a call up? If so, who and what would lines look like?

Not assuming anything away other than secession. No states are going to secede because of this Tweet. Are there weird people this Tweet appeals to? Yes. Did people storm the capital because they allowed their emotions to get in the way of thinking? Yes. Did people riot, set things on fire, and intimidate other people after George Floyd? Yes. Are there events in recent history, across the political spectrum, which support a worry for reactions to this Tweet? Yes. Is secession one of them? IMO, no.

This is the QAnon lady. Nobody is going to secede.

Not gonna happen. I doubt everyone she speaks to says this. As divisive as the “woke” culture she is referencing.

There’s a difference between getting individual players to play to their potential and putting all that into a working, consistent system. Just my take.

Some interesting conversation pieces here. Here’s my take: Team defense is garbage including UPL. No point saying he is anything else just because we have nothing else. There won’t be a lot going on at the deadline for Buffalo. No point giving up pieces for a barely bubble team who would get bounced out in the first round. I don’t blame people for not buying tickets. A half season of hope doesn’t undue 10+ years of garbage. DG is a player development guy, not a coach. Again, no point denying it just because we don’t have anything else to turn to.

Everything that’s been a problem has come together. Team defense out of sync/position DMen watching with no situational awareness Goalies who backup quality at best including UPL

This team is absolute dog **** on defense.

That story seemed to lose traction. Or I I just don’t watch much tv news. I’d be interested to know what the construction of the room was and specific classification of the documents.

That’s pretty much the last decade of Sabres games for me.
