Tuch is possibly the most irrelevant core player. Not seeing a big improvement from last year in Power. Cozens needs Quinn back. TT does more toe dragging than scoring. Clifton is a fail. UPL is so bad that people cling to single game moments of positivity as proof he is not bad. PP sucks. The bumper is stupid. Krebs is looking like he will be in Europe soon. KO skates like he’s using a Walker. Dahlin is awesome. Mitts is becoming the number one center.

The day the Sabres go deep in the playoffs, the roster will probably be half of what it is now. For this year I don’t see any major changes. Over the next three years I see the following players gone. KO, Girgs, Krebs, Clifton, VO, UPL

With the way the PP has performed so far, I’m not sure about that.

I really like the graph. Only complaint is it looks to be filling up. Maybe reduce it to only the current and previous season. More than two seasons plotted fills it up a lot.

Team defense and goaltending appears better this year. Guys are starting to find their scoring touch leading to secondary and tertiary production.

I would like to see one or two top prospects play with Girgs and KO. Both are approaching the end of their on ice relevancy but can instill a professional approach on younger guys.

Actually yes, Makar fell on his own. Thinking too much about what he’s gonna do with the puck and not enough about adjusting his weight and edges.

There’s a saying, “protect what you’ve earned.” Some of these athletes would do well to learn it.

I hope he stays up in the same or similar role. I think it’s been a good way to develop without a lot of pressure and with some good linemates to guide him.
