Those rumors don’t exist
I sort of went off on my own with my original response to you and wasn’t really talking about the safe pick factor. Mostly just saying we can’t judge whether or not he should need to learn from that pick. If it works out then maybe it’s a sign whatever strategy applied to that pick was the correct one.
You’re free to do as you please but anything prior to it I’d find to be premature. If Quinn ends up being damn good and as good/better than Rossi/those right behind him it’s a big credit to Adams going out on a limb there. If he’s not, well ... ***** him.
Love this work, god stuff. If we end up getting 8 from the Kings I’m really hoping it’s Kent Johnson, Nikita Chibrikov or Mason McTavish. At 33 I’d love Stankoven or Othmann.
If it’s two of the three make it the players (Dumba and Rossi) but idk if I’d do it without all three.
That’s a definite no for me but Minnesota feels like a good team to call here.
Agreed. There isn’t a logical match to land Byfield without either giving them Jack or severely overpaying with multiple assets to the point where it does not make sense for us.
Would 1OA get us Dumba, Rossi and Minnesota’s pick (21)?
Mike Smith did it for Arizona back when they were still Phoenix. Craig Anderson did it a few years ago, too. Goalies can change the landscape of the playoffs when they’re on.
