Florida was a hot spot. Dale Tallon obviously having a connection to him from his Chicago days. I would mention Minnesota but they need legitimate change and not a rental.

You've got some of the worst takes I've seen in the history of this board. What in the world is this? He just left to play overseas thousands of miles from home. Hardly the "path of least resistance."

Meh. He's a 4th liner or out of the NHL and nobody notices the difference. He's a fringe NHLer, at best. I don't consider that to be an NHL player.

Just came here to post this. Great read. The article compares his rookie season to Taylor Hall. Hall is a great player, but I hope Eichel is better. I think he will be.

I would prefer that McGinn is on this team going forward but if he wants more than $3.5M then walk away. I also think the Foligno comparisons are bad. McGinn brings more offense and consistency. I don't think Foligno is an NHL player and I hope he gets shipped out.

You realize that doesn't say what you're saying it says, right? The decision will come sooner than 2017-18. He's saying that's the soonest the teams would begin play.

Again, fact checking WildCard's rumor roundup: the link does NOT say it will take the league at least a year to decide on expansion. It says that the teams will need a year to "get the ball rolling" after a decision is made...
