Hockey's Future is always a good place to go if you want a quick and easy list of what the Sabres have in the ranks but if you don't already have a good grasp on the prospects then stay away. It's like "oh, duh, we have that guy."

Rarely does the general population like tv people. Look at all the national guys who are widely regarded by those inside of the game to be great who get pretty much nothing but hate from all fan bases... I think Dunleavy is good. I think Doc Emrick is great. RJ is a unique talent so I think Dunleavy may be suffering from being his follower but I think he'll do a fine job. I like the guy and the talent.

Maybe that's because, like every other team in the league besides Dallas, our PBP guy is a TV guy. Split up the broadcast. For the record, I also enjoy the call on the radio.

Like with all investigations, I don’t comment about what I will or will not do until all of the evidence has been thoroughly reviewed. I understand that people are interested in the outcome of our investigation, but we’re not going to rush because some people are impatient – and to say that I am unwilling to prosecute difficult cases is a little misinformed. I’m the DA who has prosecuted police, gone after priests who shielded pedophiles, lawmakers who were caught on tape taking money for political favors and the people who attacked a gay couple in Center City. The people of Philadelphia elected me to charge the right people with the right crimes nothing more and nothing less. My only goal is to get it right, not fast. The last thing we need is a rush to judgment. That's something GMTM can handle in the offseason. Draftee, free agency, Ennis trade... There's options. It'll take time to fill the holes on this team.

More for Fowler. I really like him and the genetics that made him left handed. I'm not "down" on Zemgus but I'm not as excited about him as others or as I was.

Kris Baker @SabresProspects Cornel 1+2, acted like leader. Scored 25th to give PBO 2-0 lead end 1st. Told team to not get too far ahead of themselves. 5-4W. Good advice This guy has REALLY turned it on this year. Having a Bailey/Baptiste type year. 2013-14: 25-37-62 in 68 games 2014-15: 14-39-53 in 72 games 2015-16: 25-43-68 in 55 games He's on pace for 33-56-89 in a 72-game season. That's an improvement of 19-17-36 which is huge. Pacing it over his 13-14 year: 31-53-84 in 68 games which is a 6-16-22. And the note about his leadership from Kris is a big one. He'll be in Rochester next year.
