  1. I think it's a definite no mainly because they weren't considered a contender for Ladd. Their focus has reportedly been on Teddy Purcell and Mikkel Boedker.
  2. To return to New Jersey he only need New Jersey's approval. To return to the league as a free agent after this season he needs 30 teams approvals. I wonder if he's raging against he Russian machine right now so he can force his way back to NJ now which would allow him the easiest path back the NHL and allow him to be traded or signed as a free agent in the offseason.
  3. Definitely. If we could do 6x$4.5m for Risto it would help us immensely down the line.
  4. Don't forget Varlamov.
  5. Armia with a dirty goal tonight... https://twitter.com/NHLJets/status/703064931197853696
  6. Pretty convenient to leave off 10-11 (Skinner's best season). 11-12 he had 5-5-10 more. 13-14 he had 12 more goals and one fewer assists. This season has, obviously, been a no-contest in Skinner's favor.
  7. Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie EDM has not traded Purcell, not yet anyway. Asset protection at this point. Several teams with serious interest. Deal likely at some point.
  8. Neuvirth with one of the biggest robberies I've ever seen. Wild were down 3-2 and would've tied the game with 1.6 seconds to go if this hits the net. https://twitter.com/myregularface/status/703046265655918593 https://twitter.com/shane1342o/status/703046867224031232 https://twitter.com/myregularface/status/703046432203390976
  9. You could probably replace "Ennis" for "Skinner" and then realize Ennis has less of a history of production and realize why Ennis may have little to no trade value.
  10. The conditional pick going to Winnipeg in the Ladd deal is a 3rd rounder in 2018 if Hawks win the Cup.
  11. Which is annoying. I have Monday off. :( save some entertainment.
  12. Mario Dano, a first and a conditional pick to Winnipeg for Andrew Ladd, Andrew Harrison and Fraser.
  13. Andrew Ladd traded to the Blackhawks. The rich get richer, per Dreger.
  14. Oilers reportedly close to trading Teddy Purcell.
  15. In case you want to see the previews for the World Cup uniforms... 16. Matthew Fairburn @MatthewFairburn Doug Whaley said the Bills' salary cap issues are a "good problem to have" because it means they have a lot of good players. I disagree with this part entirely. That's just not how it works, in my opinion. They have to cut talent to create space to re-sign a few guys. So they have to create MORE holes on the roster in order to ensure other holes aren't created. The Saints also have a super QB under contract. That's the big difference here.
  17. And without a QB under a big contract. This team is closer to the verge of a total tear down than it is to playoff success.
  18. Shoot, sorry. Let me copy and paste it. [This post has been modified by nfreeman. The original poster, Hoss, was taken out back and shot. Yes, I pissed on his body afterward.]
  19. A little ahead of yourself in saying trading Hall is "gonna happen." My guess is RNH will be the main forward they dangle. Yakupov could probably be moved, too. They need to add to the backend then solidly forward depth.
  20. Russian report: Kovalchuk has told SKA that if he's not on roster in two days time he's terminating his contract and heading to North America To return to the NHL now he would need to rejoin the Devils. This offseason he can either rejoin the Devils with the Devils approval or become a free agent if all 30 teams approve.
  21. I was super into Boedker before and I have also shifted my focus a bit. More towards Okposo than any others.
  22. Interesting article from Custance on "who says no" trades. http://espn.go.com/blog/craig-custance/insider/post?id=7145 He asks executives who says no in fan-proposed trades. One of them is Darnell Nurse and a first for OEL. He says Arizona only does it if the first is Auston Matthews.
  23. Eric Staal not at the Canes morning skate. Team says he's sick. Ladd was "sick" yesterday or the day before and missed the Jets morning skate. I love this time of the year. Vancouver TSN reporter: Hearing that #Blackhawks have serious interest in Hamhuis & Vrbata. No word yet on whether Hamhuis is willing to waive NTC. #Canucks
  24. Do you actually think that actually think that you actually think that I think that you think? Do you actually think? Do you think? Do think.
  25. FTR I was the one who suggested reducing the circumstance of the posts. A simple fix that wouldn't significantly after much. Make the pads smaller, thin the posts and get rid of the trapezoid. Give shooters more space to shoot at and force goalies to make more plays instead of just sitting there and devouring all open space in net.
