Harrington got an exclusive sit down with Murray yesterday where this was said.
-
Really looking forward to a draft where there's actually a decision to make by Murray early.
-
No, Vesey will not be here. Vesey's agents met with Murray and will relay the message. Murray said the hope is to go to Vesey or get him to visit Buffalo at some point this summer.

Flagg hit the nail on the head. Fowler got the most minutes on the team that had both the best power play percentage AND best penalty kill in the entire league. They were the first team in the league to do so in over 30 years. Fowler was given a TON of credit for this.

The Great Sabrespace Draft Meetup - Big Ditch Brewery ~5-5:30

If I wasn't working I'd join. If there's a game meet up I'm definitely down. -
The NBA Draft is always a lot of fun because of the trades that go down. So far, draft-related trades: - Jeff Teague to Indiana, George Hill to Utah, 12th pick (Taurean Prince) to Atlanta - Thaddeus Young to Indiana for the 20th pick - Serge Ibaka to Orlando for Victor Oladipo, Ersen Ilyasova and the 11th pick (Damantas Sabonis) It also sounds like the 5th pick (Kris Dunn) will be traded from Minnesota to Chicago for Jimmy Butler

Girgensons, Ennis and Foligno are all lefties. They can have two of them plus a second if that's what they want. It'll really depend on what they're interested in.

Craig Custance suggests Anaheim could use a left-shot forward who can play on the power play.

Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie Nothing has been formalized to this point, but the probability of MIN buying out Tomas Vanek in the next couple of days appears quite high.

Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun Lightning GM Steve Yzerman on Stamkos says no doors have been closed, all options remain open. "We know where we're at," Yzerman said. Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun However, Yzerman would not elaborate what that meant exactly. Both sides want process to remain quiet for now

Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie As per @Real_ESPNLeBrun, Cam Fowler trade talks heating up to the point where he could be moved before Friday night's draft. Stay tuned. Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie BUF amongst a number of teams interested in Fowler, but Sabres not believed to be keen on giving up No. 8 pick in the draft. Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun Regarding Ben Bishop, Yzerman said he's talked to other teams who are looking for a goalie. But doesn't know when or if a deal occurs... Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun Obviously if a first round pick is involved in a Bishop deal then a trade could potentially happen within next 24 hours... but no guarantee Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie MIN is fielding offers on some of its good young D. A trade of a D for a good young forward is possible but not necessarily assured.

Nick Kypreos @RealKyper Hearing #Canadiens Bergevin price remains too high in his bid to trade Subban. Moving up @2016NHLDraft for crack at Dubois remains priority

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/video/insider-trading-all-eyes-on-subban-and-stamkos~897816 Insider Trading (no geo lock). There's a lot of SERIOUS PK Subban talk. Tampa may be giving Stamkos an ultimatum to make a decision sooner rather than later. Ben Bishop a primary target for the Flames. Nothing fun.

Dan RosenVerified account‏@drosennhl Huge buzz about P.K. Subban and a potential brewing trade here in Buffalo. Habs GM Marc Bergevin expected to address the media here shortly. I misread this and thought he meant between Buffalo and Montreal. Carry on.

As in "You know nothing, Joe Sakic."

I wouldn't trade a 7th for Yakupov. I'd rather give his roster spot to others. And I actually think he could still be a capable player. I just don't want him.
-
So you think, in one year, LeBron will not be the greatest player in the game? If not, he won't be still unbelievably good? Because he'll make it so much easier for everybody else. Chris Paul is still probably the best defensive PG in the game and the second-best overall PG. Wade isn't a star anymore, but if he's the third or fourth option then he's going to be great. Melo is still going to hit shots. It would definitely be a super team.
-
We can actually talk to Stamkos on Friday/Saturday at 12:01 am.

So there's some talk on Twitter today about how the Knicks trade for Derrick Rose now allows them the cap space NEXT offsesson to create the "super team" LeBron and Melo once talked about publicly. The idea was to bring Melo, DWade, CP3 and LeBron all onto one team. The Knicks have just $35M committed for three players (Carmelo, Porzingis and O'Quinn). The NBA has suggested the cap could escalate to $110 million, so you've got $75 million to sign the other three and then you can fill the rest of the spaces. I know this will somehow be held against LeBron even though it's just people talking and not anything LeBron is actually doing, but I think that'd be exciting. They wouldn't be able to be a contending team for more then 3/4 years, so it wouldn't devour the NBA for too long. It would just be cool to see. LeBron isn't leaving Cleveland this offseason. He'll sign a two year deal that has a player option on the second season (which is also what Durant will likely do wherever he goes). This will make them free agents next year when the cap takes its second huge jump. I've actually kind of always wanted to see a superstar who makes it their goal to bring a title to as many cities as they can. I'm going to guess this is pretty unlikely, but I don't think Cleveland fans would hate LeBron for doing it. Especially if he goes out there and wins another one this year.

I'm confident that it would take Reinhart, too. It's probably going to cost far more than we would want to give. I would give far more than I suggested there, but I was drawing off Harrington's suggestion.

Whatever a 3th is I still wouldn't trade it for Yakupov. :p And I'm close to saying yes to Fowler and 24 for 8 and Girgs. Has to be 24, not 30. I'd do Girgs and 8 for Lindholm and a mid-round pick.
