This one might take a while. Anybody got an idea for how to end it fairly? Maybe first to XX votes?

:D :D :D .... :(

Naw, looks perfect to me. https://twitter.com/myregularface/status/788522038088572928 On another note: the Lightning put together an awesome video for Vinny Lecavalier https://twitter.com/TBLightning/status/788532028694142976 One of my favorite players growing up. Is he a hall of gamer? Before you answer at least take a look at the stats: http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/l/lecavvi01.html My thoughts are that he comes up short, but his resume is more impressive than you might think.

Dmitry Orlov just used a textbook hipcheck to launch Matt Duchene. Great hit.

When it comes to jokes about the spelling of Kyle's last name I'm certainly not okposed to it.

It's worth noting a trade for Fowler would likely include a forward like Foligno, Girgensons and/or Ennis which would alleviate any expansion draft concerns. Also, I find it interesting many are talking about how Kulikov being a pending UFA lessens the chances of him being protected but also bring up Derek Grant as possibly being protected. There's VERY little chance Grant becomes anything worth protecting and there's very little chance he becomes anything that would need to be protected from the small window into Vegas/UFA. We're probably looking at ANOTHER expansion draft in a few years when Eichel and Reinhart (along with others) will need to be protected. That one will be sticky for us.

Bettman autocorrected to Bergman, for the record. Not a whole lot in 30 thoughts this week. Ducks and Lindholm apparently closing the gap in talks. Ducks wanted $5.1M and Lindholm wanted $5.8M. Term still up for debate. Ducks likely won't just toss Fowler for picks/prospects. Some think the Ducks will need to deal TWO players from their roster with a mention of Silfverberg. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/30-thought-ducks-lindholm-oilers-leafs-100-flames-gaudreau/ If we could land both Fowler AND Silfverberg that'd be a fantastic coup.

Bergman was quoted just after Capgeek went down saying the league won't create their own site because fans aren't interested in salary information.

Vegas will undoubtedly take some UFAs. They have to fulfill certain requirements, so I imagine they may take a few big contract UFAs to fulfill cap requirements that they can just let go a few weeks after so free up money. And I bet they take a swing at some good young UFAs if available because that gives them a free exclusive window to say "look, we're going to pay you far more than you'll get on the market if you sign now. If you don't sign now somebody else is getting that money."

If Kulikov pans out very well and looks great on a pair with Risto GMTM would be a fool to let him get anywhere near the expansion draft or free agency. I don't care about risky (and possibly penalizable) backdoor deals, you don't expose him to that risk if he plays well all year and helps Risto earn the hefty contract he just got.
-
He's showed the skill and ability. Seemed like it was always about size for him which is all there now. Hopefully he'll get some pro games in him at the end of this season, then I think it'll be time for him to replace Gorges in our lineup.

Power rankings for the Bills this week: 7 on NFL.com 7 on Yahoo 11 on CBS Sports 8 on ESPN 8 on FOX 9 on USA Today

From Kris Baker (@sabresprospects on Twitter): Updated vitals on Brendan Guhle: 6'3", 194 lbs. I've measured his NHL readiness not in years, but rather by mass. Nice development here.
-
Cap Friendly hasn't been reporting their own contracts or breaking their own news. They pull a lot of data from General Fanager and their servers are crap. I don't think they'll hold up with the new influx of visitors they'll get.
-
You CAN protect UFAs and I'm predicting he will sign an extension before that point.
-
Hiring them and having the site shut down takes a tool away from others. It's going to be done by hand now or not at all. If you don't think GMs used General Fanager listen to some GM interviews. A lot talk about it.
-
As it stands I go with the 8 skaters option: 8 skaters: O'Reilly, Okposo, Risto, McCabe, Bogo, Kulikov, Ennis, Larsson, Girgensons (Kane can slide in for Ennis or Girgensons) - this becomes even more guaranteed if you acquire Fowler If you choose the seven forwards and three d then you're protecting Foligno out of necessity because there are no other worthy candidates.
-
I am not protecting Marcus Foligno if he costs a penny. He is not worth protecting. If he is what you lose at the expansion draft then you're happy.
-
Craig RamsAy Mike RamsEy Just for future reference on the last name spelling.
-
They didn't do any talent evaluation. At all. I still think this is about the expansion draft.
-
Fuuuuuuuuudge General Fanager has shut down. Founder hired by Las Vegas. Honestly, I legit think they hired him to use his mock draft expertise. McPhee said the entire staff goes on there daily and gets an idea what will be out there.

This one will get interesting. I hope those who showed hesitancy in voting purely because they didn't see these players are voting. Vote based on what you know and have heard.

Giving the vote to PLF. Editing the poll now.

Traitors To Trump is a website dedicated for calling out Republicans who opposed Donald Trump and their country. It's goal was to further bring down the Republican Party ... it was started by a Democrat. Hey, democrats, they don't need help tearing themselves apart.

They still should've won. They're better than the Jets.
