The contract he got said "we think you're a franchise QB but also still don't trust you." If they pick up his option they're officially saying he's a franchise QB.
-
this franchise.

Franchise QBs don't lose this game.

Dat was nice

Or neck injury. He's working with two severe situations and it's likely this injury is one or both. What a shame. A really good guy.

Landry should be ejected for that. Ridiculous. Williams career might be over.
-
Naw, it's Shady.
-
Did anybody else notice that Shady didn't know the play there? He ran up like he was supposed to get a handoff. Thank the lord Tyrod has his legs otherwise that could've been a dangerous play.
-
By their standard Justin Hunter should've been flagged for his first down celebration. Have to be fair.
-
That's a dumb flag. This league is dumb. But also thanks for calling it.
-
Delay of game is such an unforgivable penalty. I'll never understand. Cameron Wake is a problem. Tyrod's lack of pocket awareness on two plays that drive were scary. His elusiveness allowed him to survive the first one.

There are several steps between rape (all rape is violent, for the record) and a butt grab. I do think grabbing somebody's butt without permission is worse than an accusation that doesn't involve police. An actual false public accusation that crosses into legal territory is worse. The women weren't wrong for wondering if their friend got assaulted... They were wrong for their persistence and refusal to back off after Eleven apologized and explained.

Probably accurate but this doesn't mean anything here. And false accusers are NOT as bad as actual predators. Statistically speaking DOCUMENTED false accusations are nowhere near the same level of actual assaults (reported and unreported).
-
That was my question and you are correct. The accident happens far more, but false accusations are not more common than actual assaults (unless you want to include "hey, did you just touch my ass?" "No" "okay" as a legitimate accusation).

Mike Ramsey is the winner for the eighth spot. A little higher than I expected but totally justified. I plan to keep it at four candidates each round and will just edit out whichever candidate wins. It'll be easier for me, mainly. But this isn't my thread, so if others contest the format I'll change it without hesitation. Thanks to those participating.

By this do you mean incidents where women claim they were sexually assaulted after an accidental graze/bump or just that accidentally bumping people happens more than actual assault? The latter is true, the former is not and is an archaic view of sexual assault.
-
They do and it's a tragedy. I still don't think it's relevant to the Kane cases. Nobody would refuse to acknowledge these things happen. The only relevant info to their cases are the facts of their cases. It doesn't matter if rape happens elsewhere or if false accusations happen elsewhere as long as it did or didn't occur in their scenarios. I have. I have been accused of the same incident you dealt with. I've been accused of a far greater sexual violation for the sake of somebody's self preservation after they made a mistake. Both furthered the tone I've presented here.

Hmmmm ... What happened to you sucks. It happens sometimes. It's still not relevant to Patrick or Evander Kane. The seriousness of the accusations against them extend far beyond a grazing of a butt and claimed assault. And we don't know whether or not they are the predators those women claim them to be. You're not them. You were a victim of unwarranted harassment, but it's simply not accurate to immediately put yourself on their level and claim a similar experience. I respect the hell out of you and am upset you dealt with this, so I hope you don't take this as insulting or furthering your victimization. I could see an argument that it's relevant to the claims against EVANDER Kane that came out when he allegedly groped a woman's breast and tried to draw her into his car. But it's not relevant to Patrick and, despite my first sentence, I don't think it's really relevant. I've been slapped at bars for things I didn't know even happened. I got taken out of a bar by the throat (bouncer had me in a chokehold) after a guy told him I pushed his girlfriend. I never saw the guy or the girl and only found out after my friend came out and told me that's what they heard. I'm not Patrick or Evander Kane.

I think you and the women are going to be just fine. I don't believe the title is relevant to the text.

Nashville should be very good this year and they're really fun. They're doing this tonight after earlier today they mentioned that they might have trouble icing a team tonight due to food poisoning. Cancelled the morning skate.

You're incorrect about my job and this has nothing to do with anything but personal interest in the discussion. Also, yes, it would be more interesting to find relationships that were able to survive which is why I'm asking about that specifically right now and not the opposite... This is important, no doubt. I'm obviously loose with my words/opinions at times so I imagine it's a situation I would struggle in without improvement.

This is the logical and sane answer that I assumed was the case, but I wasn't sure if many just avoid talking politics entirely with their significant other (I couldn't imagine doing that). I'd be interested in stories of relationships that ended due to this intense political season. I know of family members and friends who no longer talk to each other because of serious differences in opinion.
