This year has been absolute hell for teachers who already deserved so much more. It’s incredible how little they are prioritized in our society despite having one of the most important jobs. Hats off to them.

Tkachuk’s 77 points and 61 points would be Samson’s first and third most points in a season and he’s not that far off this season point production wise. He’s three years younger. If both were made available more teams would call with stronger offers to Calgary. Your verbiage makes it clear you’re letting a personal grudge impact your thoughts here.

Ideally you'd provide some evidence for claims like this because otherwise this feels hollow. Tkachuk definitely has more value in a trade than Reinhart.

I've got my eyes all over Calgary (Johnny G, Lindholm, Monahan, Tkachuk) and Vancouver (Boeser, Horvat, Schmidt). I've always had an affinity for Logan Couture purely because he's a Bills fan but he's probably aged out as a target now but Hertl and Meier could be of interest.

Matt is also two years younger. IF we were to trade Samson (not convinced it's the right move) I wonder if you call hometown Vancouver and ask about a Samson for Horvat or Boeser swap. There were rumors one might be available last offseason.

Tom Wilson should be banned for the remainder of this season and should need to go through some training and meetings before he plays a game next season.

What happened to Miller has nothing to do with what Wilson did. You can respond to the Miller incident without doing the things Tom Wilson does. This is like someone robbing your house and wanting them to legalize bazookas instead of just buying a security system.

I'm not willing to cross the moral line of "punching a man's face into the ice" so my hockey team can be a little better and maybe get a very temporary boost. I also hope my team doesn't need anyone to punch a man's face into the ice in order to get fired up.
