JJP has played better than both of them, IMO

Hopefully they play a lot better than they did last year against Seattle...got drubbed in both games. Lost 5-2 and 7-4. Both games occurred in November, so we didn't have some pieces in that game we will have tonight.

But it means something that the pace started once they got Tuch/Krebs and a few players returned from long term injuries. I honestly don't care about him anymore. He put up points and a lot of Wow! Moments here but he was also a reason why this team perennially underperformed. It's not a coincidence the team has played much better since he has been gone than while he was here.

They have played 33 games at the same pace now.

I think they will be fine...that's why they got Pilut. Willing to bet he looks a lot better under Meatball's system than he did last time he was here.

You mean Krebs who has been in the lineup on an every game basis since he was acquired in the trade? How long does someone need to play to "break into a lineup"? Their whole career?

The D in general and their defensive zone coverage has been a huge improvement over anything we have seen in recent memory. Very few players left standing wide open for easy goals...most times they are forcing tough passes to guys who are covered pretty well. No running around chasing the player with the puck in their own end anymore. Its been pretty impressive to watch.

Sabres are getting a lot of respect from other teams fans on the boards... Lots of things like "That is a good young team over there with tons of speed and skill" And "I really like the way they play, they are young, talented and exciting to watch" Nice to see that other teams fans are starting to see the same thing we are
