  1. 1) Rene Robert? 2) Rick Martin? 3) Gilbert Perrault?
  2. Since 2021, the top 6 players in terms of most points in the NHL over that time have come from 3 teams, which feature 2 players from each team making the list and even more interesting, the top 2 players are from the first team, players 3 and 4 are from the 2nd team and players 5 and 6 are from the 3rd team. Which 3 teams are represented and what is the order of these teams(the team with players 1-2 would be first, the team with players 3-4 would be second and the team with players 5-6 would be third)?
  3. I think a lot of their defensive mistakes can be characterized by that...young guys who always try to go for the puck and be aggressive like they are taught on offense, but it doesn't work like that on D...you need to be aware of spacing and where the players who don't have the puck are and more importantly where they are going and what they are trying to accomplish... They still have some struggles in that area but it's much much better this year than last year and I would expect continues to improve as the young players learn to cool their jets a little bit on D and play a more sound, fundamental positioning game when called for and realize their responsibility in that part of the ice and who they need to be aware of.
  4. In the last 25 games played(going back to last year), Mittelstadt has led the Sabres in scoring with 28 points. Surprised? You shouldn't be if you have been watching the games. He has been consistently excellent and last year single handedly kept us in the playoff race when the big guns went dry for a bit. He has also been a +6 in that time, 2nd on the team only to Power who is a +7. He has been noticeable in the defensive zone too at times winning puck battles and getting the puck out. He is taking his game to another level, IMO. Adams better extend him soon or his price is going to be a lot higher at the end of the year when he potentially has 80-90 points. He is the fan favorite whipping boy no more... Hasn't only been good for the Sabres either...he is actually tied for 16th in the NHL in most points over the last 25 games with players like Auston Matthews and Nikita Kucherov.
  5. Ever see what happens after I eat Baked Beans?? Just feed the crew a steady diet of baked beans and broccoli and harness all that free propulsion power that will be generated.
  6. That just happened a few games ago against Montreal...their goalie was like a stonewall and stopped 3 breakaways.
  7. I wouldn't say that. The offense and transition game is starting to kick into gear once they have figured out how to play team defense while not completely eliminating their offense.
  8. It's a work in progress...trying to diversify it, became too easy to defend last year.
  9. You realize the PK being so good is going to do far more to help us than the PP being bad is going to hurt us right? They will eventually get the PP rocking again, they have far too much talent not to. The PK at 90% has been amazing and they have looked the part too.
  10. They are starting to figure it out and starting to understand how to create transition and offense from a more defensive team approach. Expect them to continue trending upwards.
  11. depends on the type of sub and the type of condiment. These are not one answer fits all questions you are asking with subs. Neither of them are. Both of them are "it depends."
  12. I checked out the climate and the average winter temps are pretty much almost the same as Buffalo's which is crazy for how much farther North you are.
  13. Ah! I should have noticed the NS for Nova Scotia! Is it like Greenland up there where the ocean keeps you warmer than you would expect in winter?
  14. People go to the beach when it is 25 degrees out? Are you part of the Polar Bear Club?
  15. After Biro's performance yesterday, pretty large.
  16. depends on the sub. There is no one size fits all answer.
  17. Sorry, I'm too busy eating alphabet crackers in my soup.
  18. Not a bad debut this season for the kid...
  19. extend that man...he has been playing at a very high level for almost a full year now.
  20. that seems strange...must be some sort of power struggle he lost going on with either the owner or coach.
  21. Eh...UB was getting decent when the team was going to the NCAA Tournament under Hurley and then Oats but has kinda gone back to nobody caring anymore...
  22. Juniors may not help them much either if they are already well above that level.
