I say a little prayer for you... Sabres will need at least 5 out of 6 points to get in even if the Isles and Pens both lose out. They lose all tie breakers so the only way they get in is to have at least 1 more point.

Yeah I was watching it too, I always watch the opponent feed cause ours is so bad in comparison. They said we are a team that is coming on strong and next year is likely going to make some noise.

We don't have the tiebreaker on the Isles...Isles have 35 regulation wins, Sabres only have 29. Even if they were to win all 3 games left in regulation they could only get to a max of 32. Sabres will need to have one more point than the 2nd wildcard team currently does because they are going to lose our on tiebreakers to all of the possible teams(FLO, NYI, PIT)

Well the Sabres made good on my prediction that they would finish somewhere in the 87-90 point range and just miss the playoffs but be in the hunt until the last week or two of the year...now I would be really happy if they made that prediction wrong by finishing with 93 points and making the playoffs

I think you should stop hating the player so much that you can't even be honest about what he is doing right now and continue bashing him for what he was doing 2 and 3 years ago. Your bias is overwhelming to the point you can't have an honest evaluation of him so to be honest your opinion has no value to me since it's based on your hatred of the player and not reality.

Why trade for one when they can get one or two in FA? It's not like they don't have plenty of money. Not sure how you can say a player regressed offensively when he is on the 4th line now and his role has changed. He is flourishing in his new role, btw also.

I'd be shocked if he didn't sign here...immediate spot open on a young and highly talented team that will be likely making a cup run in a few years...almost a no-brainer and perfect situation to become a part of.

His release and the torque he generates is other worldly... He also has this move where he is skating with the puck and then in one fluid motion he rips a shot where it doesn't even look like his stick moves but the shot is gone in the blink of an eye with speed, power and accuracy. The first time I saw it I had to keep rewinding because I didn't believe I saw what I thought I just saw.

Yup. And then picking up only 6 of 24 points in the 12 games preceding the 6-1-1 streak. In those 2 streaks that comprised 20 games they picked a total of only 6 out of 40 points. That isn't going to get it done very often.

If people are still bagging on Mitts they haven't been watching the past few months. Dude has been the best player on the ice for the Sabres more than once during that time.
