I hear from recruiters via phone or email almost daily it seems like...if I would have known this is what it would be like once your resume got out there as a software engineer/developer, I would have tried to keep it on the downlow, hahaha... I had a similar situation a while back...after 3 weeks I basically figured I didn't get it, but then after 2 more weeks they called me and told me they wanted to offer me the position...lots of approvals, etc were needed or something...either way I took the job.

That was an absolute rocket by Matthews...I dont know if there is a goalie on the planet who could have stopped that shot... This series is going to be a lot of fun to watch for the next 10 years...

Our transition game is far far better, as is the puck movement within our defensive zone. Many times they will make these slick little touch passes even under duress in their own end this year that lead to quick breakouts where I dont know if I even saw one of those types of plays last year. They are in better position as well, much less running around aimlessly, so many times these chances are with Sabre players in position to defend better which turns it from a Grade A chance to a Grade B or C chance. These advanced metrics can only go so far. Anyone who is watching them in the defensive zone from last year to this year can see its night and day.

Yeah but he is really good in shootouts, so that is where the comparison to Lehner stops...we would have lost 3-1 the other night if Lehner was in there.

That building was rocking again like I havent heard in at least 10 years...the Skinner goal and the crowd reaction after brought me back to the Mogilny OT winner against the Rangers and I half expected them to go outside to the Party in the Plaza and have thousands of fans going crazy out there... What an atmosphere. It doesnt take much to get excited about hockey here...its in our blood...on the balance while most people love the Bills, I would place a bet that if people had a choice between watching a random hockey game not involving the Sabres and a random football game not involving the Bills more people here would choose the hockey game...

After losses by both Tampa Bay and Nashville they are the first team in NHL history to lead the NHL in points after 25 games following a year in which the team finished last in the standings... That's pretty damn impressive!
