Holy secondary scoring Batman. Sheary with a 3 point night.

I hate the Bruins so much. How is it the Sabres never score goals like this but they constantly allow goals like that???

Uggh. Not like he was scoring but he was still dangerous with the puck at times.

It helps with pretty much any virus. They had a study that showed in clinical trials that a cocktail that contained Elderberry, Cinnamon and a few other natural things was as effective against HIV as some of the early drugs being used. Can't remember if it binds to our cell receptors or the virus receptors, but it basically binds to the area where the virus attaches to the cells in the body to infect them. Since it can't bind to these cells, the virus basically just gets attacked or flushed out of the body eventually without being able to infect you.

Because they had a plan, stuck with it and spent 3 years under the same coach and GM to build something the right way that works and will last. Sabres have not had that continuity yet even though they have some good pieces. I think after 3 years under JBotts/Kreuger we will see similar results.

Sabres have recovered nicely after a tough November stretch and have now gotten points in 9 of their last 10 games, going 5-1-4 in that stretch. Granted it would be nice if they could figure out a way to stop losing in OT and win a few of those but a point is better than nothing, giving them 14 of a possible 20 points over that time period and catapulting them into 2nd place in the division with a 3 point cushion. Kreuger has figured out how to do something that Housley never could over 5 months...get this team out of a tailspin and back to playing good hockey that gets results.

That goal today was very elite...grabbed a rebound in tight with traffic around him and quickly roofed the puck on his backhand on a bad angle. Not many players would have been able to make that play and he made it look easy. Dude is just turning into a monster this year and a serious problem that other teams have very few answers for. He makes people look silly when they attempt to take the puck from him on the half wall.

Eichel is a better player, Matthews a better pure goal scorer although Eichel is now 2nd in the NHL to Pastarnak in goals. That goal he scored today was an elite play to be in close and quickly flip the puck up into corner of the net with a defensive player and goalie there.

We fought back from goal deficits twice against the stingiest defensive team in the league at home. They earned a point which was well deserved. Just keep piling up points and in the end everything will take care of itself.

Eichel has been so good...dude is turning into a top 5-10 player in the NHL. Sabres deserved a point at least and their PP was very impressive...kept the puck in the zone the whole PP twice on their goals.

Sabres absolutely dominated the 2nd period and that was a rocket by Olafsson to tie it...he has been a revelation...dude has a good shot at 30+ goals which is pretty impressive for a rookie even if he is 24. Sabres need a good 3rd. Even penalty kill has been good allowing very few shots and had an odd man rush... Sabres starting to really play consistent good hockey and limiting their lapses...Kreuger is putting his stamp on this team and they are finally starting to believe in themselves and show some mental toughness instead of cracking like a raw egg at the first sign of any trouble.

What has me so excited is that Eichel has improved goal and assist numbers every season he has played in the league so far and it looks like he is going to shatter his previous best this year...all while improving his defensive respnsibilities and turning in an impressive +15 so far

Dude is on a 114 point pace this year...he is absolutely scorching right now...

Eichel is rocketing up the leaderboards and is currently tied for 5th with 46 points in 33 games thanks to a torrid 15 game point streak that has seen him get more than half his points this year so far. He is currently on pace for 114 points if he plays all 82 games. Will he crack 100 points this year? I say yes and I also say he hits 40 goals as well. This is all as long as he stays healthy of course. What say you? Will he or won't he? And if you vote no, what do you think his goal/point totals look like at the end of the year?

Hockey is the only sport where players are drafted in the first round with the expectation they turn into good 3rd line players with little to no offense. Could you imagine a team in the NFL drafting someone in the first round expecting them to be a good 3rd down RB that is good at pass protecting?

Is it just me or do the Sabres potentially play better without Dahlin in there? I know he is an all-world talent but he also makes some very poor defensive zone miscues and seems to be at the center of bad goals a lot as well...Sabres seem to play a simpler game when he is not in there... Not that I am advocating him not playing, he will eventually solve that and continue to evolve offensively, but I just wanted to see if anyone else saw the same thing?

This is what Housley wasn't able to do for 5 months...get the team to climb back up once they jumped off the cliff last year. I don't see the ST being this bad all year long...I mean how can they allow more shorthanded goals for a month than score PP goals---that's nearly impossible. I think they have to regress to the mean at some point...the good thing is they are routinely winning at 5 on 5 which is something that hasn't happened in a LONG time...

He is good for one "are you freaking serious??" goal pretty much every game it seems. Against the Islanders when we lost 1-0 that was the difference in the game...they scored a goal that no NHL goalie should allow, but he allows them on an almost every game basis and then stops really tough shots. I don't get him. He is sort of like an enigma.

I mean don't we already have this player? A guy who is supposed to score more goals but just doesn't for whatever reason? Basically he is Jimmy Vesey at this point in his career,
