    Ennis, well I just don't like his game. He mostly just annoys me. Foligno tries to be something he is not. Weber knows his job and fulfils. Don't ask too much of him and he will serve his role. He was taken higher than expected in his draft year because of how determined to make the NHL he appeared in his interview. He was twice the unsung Sabre of the year (as voted for by the players). He loved the city. A low third is a borderline pointless pick. Our defence isn't exactly brimming with depth, he is a cheap and reliable 6/7 d-man

    Think i'd rather have Weber than the 90th pick tbh. Its a shame, this will be a quiet weekend for us. The crap that needs to go - Ennis, Moulson, Foligno etc. - won't get shifted and we don't have any exciting UFA

    They could have given him 10 games under Cat 2. They ruled it was intent to injure rather than just being physical with the ref

    Favourite comment on this incident so far: "Thank god it didn't cause a concussion circle. Wideman gets concussed and attacks a linesman, linesman gets concussed and attacks another player, that player gets concussed and attacks someone else... In under a year, everyone on the planet is a concussion zombie."

    Toews didn't play half the game yesterday with flu like symptoms Ovie has a nagging injury that was made worse by clearing his drive from snow Those are the two 'official' reasons. Ovie was drunk as hell at last years, so I don't see how he can claim the moral high ground on the sanctity of the all-star game and Toews is a true professional. I call BS on them pulling out because of Scott. Realistically they pulled out because no-one really wants to go to the all-star game more than once in their career and both of their teams are poised for a deep playoff run and would be better with their top players in 100% condition.

    Concussion issue or not, he still injured a linesman and that has to be dealt with. The Flames medical department should also be reviewed if he was concussed. As there has been no mention of him being injured from anyone official, I don't see why everyone is attributing it to concussion so easily. I hope he gets 20 games personally. If he was feeling so far in la-la land he needs to tell the medical department, because if his concussion is bad enough that he rages out so quickly then there are probably some pretty awful headaches and vomiting too. Finally he doesn't even try and defend himself saying head trauma made him act out. His defense was he didn't see the ref until the last minute...

    Damn poetic ending. Kane, the bad teammate, has a chance to score and silence the crowd, instead elects to pass it through Myers and Stafford to his young teammate so he can score a hatrick
