Making a peewee hockey team

Cozens is willing to play a physical game and not afraid to throw his weight around in all three zones. He works hard in his own end, and he tends to be in the right position and make the right reads. His positioning and smarts are outstanding though.

Luckily for GMJB Spencer is still on the table...

Plus his style has always allowed his teams to play more aggressive and leave him out to dry. His stats would be better if the teams he played in played a more defensive game. he was just so good on break aways. Him and Drury were my favourite players when I first got into hockey. I hope he signs a one day contact and retires as a Sabre

Dach, Zegras, Cozens and Caufield all feel like they could be interchangeable on draft day (i.e. they could go in any order)

Plus we don't make the playoffs anyway, so he can lose his repeat offender status for suspensions!

This forum endlessly pitches addition by subtraction, and all it ever leads to is a worse product. Ignoring cap space, Risto will be a solid second pairing D man on any team. People describe him as though he is barely an NHL player, yet for some reason about 8 different NHL coaches have seen fit to use him as their go to D-man

Expansion isn't a trade right? So a NMC is a no go, but a NTC would be fine? Same as how you can send a player to the minors on a NTC

Has anyone had an in-person hearing and got less than 5 games? I know it is technically possible but I can't recall it every happening. He got a three game suspension last year and has something like five suspensions in six years. Comfortably 5+. I would say 6. It removes him from the playoffs and maybe a few games next year. But I could also see a 10+ to really send a message to him to change his act.
