Poorly worded - I meant more the appeal of a big city to go partying in may have been more attractive 3 years ago and he is less bothered by that now. Just speculating as to reasonable things that could mean his reasons for rejecting us the first time around aren't true now

Maybe he will like the city / team more than he expected? Maybe he has grown up / changed in the last few years and what he wanted from New York is no longer what he wants?

By points alone, he would be a top 6 forward in 9/16 playoff teams. Colorado, Boston, Dallas, Carolina, St Louis, Winnepeg, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Islanders

I don't disagree entirely. But a 35 point player on your third line is what 120 point teams have, not 95 point teams

There are 180 top 6 forwards in this league. Vesey was 167th. He is a classic middle 6 forward, not bottom 6

So does he slot in on Reinhart's line?

Cheap at least. Someone has to be on the move right? Only so many third line players a team can have... Vesey can't escape the pull of the Sabres

Not really. We had him here last season. It was a good and required move, but it doesnt make us better than last year

Just because he used some of the picks to get good players, doesn't disprove that he also wasted a lot of potential/picks. I have 20 picks and trade 7 for magic beans, 3 for a good player and pick 10 players You have 10 picks, trade 1 for a mediocre player and pick 9 players

Kind of depressing we have already accepted next year to be another write off. Ultimately we need our young guys to step up. We have drafted like crap for most of a decade and so have empty cupboards despite drafting highly.
