Technically he is a rookie because of the amount of games played but my personal opinion was lack of sabres rookies making it to the NHL this year. That's why he got a card. Also its good to see I'm not the only person collecting hockey cards. :)

That he owns 3 million dollar companies and spits on poor people in his spare time. Or he picks up illegals from home depot and pays them to choke him in the shower. Lol!

I really hope bettman and fehr can come to an agreement because I believe this lockout will essentially kill a few NHL teams. Also if another lockout occurs this will destroy all new fans and momentum built in the last 5 years. That means all the revenue from winter classics, sfc, and draft day coverage will be lost. It will be a shame because this could spell doom for the NHL.

Leo for gagner I would be ok with but Ennis for Ryan is a definite no-go. We have 2 solid centermen in Ennis and Hodgson. (possibly) if we trade Ennis now we are in trouble. Grigs and girgs are not ready for the NHL just yet.....give them time to develop and excel, then Ennis is expendable. IMO if we acquired Ryan he would stay with buffalo until his contract expired then jump ship.....reasoning (lack of quality NHL ready centermen). On the other hand he might stay with buffalo but it would take an a$$ load of money to keep him. Either way Ryan for Ennis would hurt buffalo in the long run....that's just my personal feeling.

I wonder if the possible lockout looming that the trade market will pick up in a big way?

Unless its a trade for Ryan and Getzlaf or another #1 centermen and prospects Ennis will be a Buffalo Sabres before training camp. Its a long summer and people are just bored so what else is there to talk about on hockey hotline other than trade possibilties.

Best burgers are no doubt from Grover's. Best garbage plate near Rochester is jimmy z in brockport. I lived on those in college. I have to agree with everybody about the anchor bar its definitely overrated. Honorable mention Grover's cheeseburger soup. I'm hungry just thinking about it.

But even with a so-so goalie Boston is still a very good team. Their offense and defense are still pretty solid. Although I hope I'm wrong because I hate Boston. Haha

Hodgson does I think because he's still on a entry level contract.

I don't care if buffalo is first or last in the east as long as the games are fun to watch. Last year the beginning of the season was great then the middle sucked then finally the last few games of the season were fun again. IMO its going to be fun to watch a tougher buffalo team and awesome to watch the rookies like foligno, Hodgson, and Ennis flourish. So I'm going in to this season with no negativity. :)

I think this was a perfect prediction for this season. If Hodgson and Ennis shine down the middle Buffalo will have a decent team and shot to make the playoffs. If not, well I guess it's time to trade some big names and start the rebuilding/development phase.

He was a fun player to watch with lots of hits and a few fights but other than that meh. Also over on the amerks forum people are probably asking for Darcy's head over this. Lol

Wow now I'm depressed if doan visits everywhere but Buffalo. If we end up losing out on Shane doan I'm going to qualify this off-season as a bust. Steve ott was a good trade but not a blockbuster move.

Wait on more season before you throw leino under the bus. Last season was a train wreck with injuries and the miller incident. Leino is going to have a rebound year and if we make the playoffs you will understand why DR signed him.
