For example if grigorenko and Girgensons are ready to play in the NHL why do you need Arnott?

Semins a great player statistically but his attitude is what the sabres want to get away from. That's why I think he will sign with either red wings or pens. Or KHL for the money.

I agree Grigorenko will sign a contract monday night. Girgensons on the other hand will not unless he makes the team. He stated that he made a promise to Vermont and I really think he wants to go there more than Rochester. I really wish Girgensons would play on Rochester this season but I understand his decision.

Shane Doan would help the team as a whole not just Grigorenko. He is a proven leader and has the potential to be a solid point getter for the next 2-3 years. If Buffalo gets Shane Doan I can careless if they go after Ryan or Nash. Doan in a sabres uniform= Best offseason ever!!

I really believe that unless we make a trade for a elite player or move a few players for young talent this year is going to be a limbo year. Buffalo will play more physically but fall short on scoring once again but if the team stays healthy I believe we will make the playoffs. I can't blame DR on trades this offseason because GM are putting stupid asking prices on players like Ryan and Nash. Also free agency is becoming more and more of a crap shoot each year with players asking for long contracts and stupid money. Example Matt Carle. IMO Buffalo will probably make a suprise trade but don't expect them to be real cup contenders for aleast 2-3 more years.

I really hope Pegula can get Shane Doan. He's the type of guy that will inspire any team to play better and IF he becomes a sabre I really believe we can make the playoffs. The only downside is I heard on the internet Doan was not even considering coming to Buffalo. Warm up the jet Pegula! Also I dont know enough about Mason Raymond to be outraged if he was traded to Buffalo.

Stastny has become the Avs Derek Roy. In which I mean he's a good player but not producing like he should. IF Avs want to trade him it would be a change of scenery type trade. Also I have not heard anybody other than Schopp and this forum talk about a buff stastny trade recently.

Amerks signings can go in this thread because I want to be proven wrong. IMO Amerks were being neglected by the sabres but with this signing I have hope. Mark Mancari will be a good addition to the amerks and he is now on the top line with Porter.
