Overall is was a sad moment for the team when nobody stood up for miller. He is your star player/goalie grow some bullocks (uk) and go after lucic. $&@& I don't even care If they jumped him and tickled him. JUst show some $&@$ing EMOTION.

I didn't mean to hurt a players or run Thomas head on. I just wanted them to get more physical or just bump thomas not run him; because when they didn't fight back against Boston it had a huge ripple effect. After the incident other teams knew we could be thrown off our games if they played more physical. Look at even what ott said. He stated that the image of buffalo was that they were an easier team to play against. I don't mean to sound like a brute but as a team you need to stick up for your teammates and atleast give the Image that you are a tough team.

This is what bothers me about hockey today. If your the captain stick up for your ######## teammates. I don't care if the guy is bigger that you, you stand up and take the beating. If your smart go out on your checking line and start the fight and step back and let the goon fight. If you go into the dressing room after your teammates will respect you. (even if you get your butt whooped) It's all about respect. After the lucic incident not one ######## person tried to right the boat. Nobody fought, no dirty hits on lucic, no running Thomas....nothing! They just finished the game like whipped dogs. That was the turning point in the season were the team feel apart. IMO

In all honesty I rather play a rookie like grigorenko then Arnott. The rookie will learn and grow where Arnott will just falter and age. Also if he's asking 3 yrs and like 4 mil he's not worth it. If buffalo could offer him a 1yr 1.5 mil then do it other than that wait and see how this team looks next season.

Yeah drury won it in 00-01 season with Colorado. Also he was the only rookie who won a hobey baker and Calder trophy in the same year.

Ryan wants to leave and I think the ducks need a change. I don't know i think the package is pretty good. stafford is a ok player. Sekera was one of our better d-men last season, Adam is a center prospect and the ducks need centers. Also a 1st round pick is not bad considering buffalo is a bubble team right now. This is all my opinion. Heck if we are considering hypothetical trades from HOckeyy insiderr I think this offer is better than phillys. They offered Matt read, 1st, mesjaros, and someone else.

Well I'm working on the assumption that the 30 mil was our offer because Pitts not going to pay that when they have Malkin and other contracts expiring at the end of next season. Philly needs defense more than they need vet scoring. Rangers just picked up Nash and I really don't see a NEED for Doan at this moment. Vancouver could be the only suprise dark horse if he leaves PHX. So I'm going to be positive and say that Buffalo MAY have the inside track on down.

Shockingly enough I was thinking the same thing. We need more RW depth and he could take Tropps place if tropp gets called up. Also I bet Darcy could pick him up cheap right now.
