  1. Recipe for disaster. Any predictions on how long it takes until Staff finds himself on the bench or downgraded to fourth-line duty? I predict 30 games. (Let's remember that he had a contract-year last year)
  2. I agree with you. Just last week I saw one of those games that just didn't go as well as they should have. I'd heard that Jonas Johansson was tearing it up in his new club (he has been borrowed to Almtuna from Brynäs). Since Almtuna is my home town team I got excited and went to see if he was as good as his stats. He couldn't stop anything it seemed and ended up with a sv%75 (didn't face many shots) playing the whole game. I did see some hints of great things. (Expected Jonas to play rather inmobile playstyle and depend on his size, but he didn't seem afraid of playing agressive). I haven't seen any preseason games so I can't comment on Lehner, but he has played far too little to rule him out imo.
  3. You can also add the russian-factor to the Tarasenko equation ;)
  4. I thought I saw him sign an Eichel-#15-jersey in the video. Does that end that discussion?
  5. The Kane-trade was also discussed alot over the years, the parts involving in the trade might not have been so spot on as in the O'reilly-deal. But still quite amazing how peoples wishes come true. GO SABRES!
  6. I'm from Scandinavia and he sure looks slavic to me.
  7. lead gloves Matt Ellis is probably more accurate
  8. I wouldn't even want him with the amerks just because of the risk of him getting called up. There's enough role players as it is. The Sabres and the amerks WILL BE FINE without him.
  9. I wouldn't mind having him as a Rochester veteran, seeing him get called up if his skills are needed. But I think his days as a fulltimer in the NHL are over.
  10. According to nhlnumbers.com (I sure miss capgeek) he still has one year left at 1.25M$ per year.
  11. What if you guys would get the chance to choose between Enroth or Neuvirth comming back next season. Who would you choose?
  12. Per harrington - "No Dalpe. #Sabres lines are Moulson-Varone-Ennis, Foligno-Grigo-Gionta, Hodgson-Larsson-Deslauriers, Ellis-Schaller-D'Amigo."
  13. Grigs has been called up. This must mean he gets to play this time.
  14. Sure hope all these tank moves gets us one of the Mcdonalds guys.
  15. Guess we're going to see Lindback in goal tomorrow then. It's so embarassing that they are talking on TSN that we traded him because he won us games, and that Tim had to get rid off him. "Neuvirth trade results in tanking"
  16. Damn, really thought Neuvirth was GMTM:s man. Almost expect GMTM to be pushing hard to get him back this summer.
  17. So while we're trying to build a team by LA-formula they are picking up all off our defensemen... Are they tanking? Or are they trying to follow our ex-formula? Either way it's a strange circle.
  18. Neuvirth looks damn sharp. Murray sure seems invested in him, wonder how contract talk has been going (or if there have been any).
  19. Don't know if this is irrelevant to the thread. But I remember someone said that Larssons advanced stats were good relative to the team. Is this true?
  20. Didn't take long for this GDT to become a trade-discussion thread.
