By the end of this coming season Power will be a top pair level D on any team in the NHL. He will be the Sabres #2 D and play #3 - top of the 2nd pairing for the next 10+ years.

Where did I say he was not a fan. My point was he had to know that the Sabres wer for sale back then, but he could not buy them since he did nto have the $. Your reasons are also perfectly valid and part of the reaason he did not buy the team until he did.

It also can be reasonably stated that he was describing the Sabres for the 10+ years leading up to the last 2.

Mr Pegula could not have purchased the Sabres back then. He did not have his $ at the time. That is the better and more accurate answer than not knowing it was available for sale. The NHL friggin' was publicly running the team at the time.

@SDS may not have any say in this. It's something that is likely not high on his priority list. I think that it's more plain for all to see that @Doohickie is really into Wonder Woman and her surely to be banned outfit. I thank him for that.

Danny Gallivan was the Montreal voice on HNIC. Bob Cole did all the rest and the playoff (except for Montreal). Both are / were fantastic.

The Bills will be fine. SB contenders again. One of many and not the favourite to win it, which is probably going to help. Hot take incoming .. the Bills will go 12 - 4 and win the East again and will be the 3 seed in the AFC. They will won their WC game at home. Win the division game on the road and win the AFC Championship on the road. They will lose the SB only to win it in 2025.

I have tears from reading the wonderful tributes to this great man. For me that's the top, middle and bottom lines. He was a great man. He will be fondly missed. Rick was the voice of my youth, my teens, my 20s, 30s, 40s and most of my 50s. Every minute was pure joy. He knew where the cookies were 'cus he was top-shelf himself.
