To make the playoff in the NHL many good things will have to happen and there has to be a certain amount of good luck too. Good teams make their own good luck mostly. If the goaltending stands up they will make it. If the team D is just a very little bit better they will make it.

Phisicality is not a word. Bloody Hell !! Who started that should be forces to take @inkman's English classes so they can be more goodly at it. The Sabres do not need to score more goals. They need to allow less. No one is going to care about this guy goal scoring or lack there of. His physical play will help prevent goals. That is the only reason why he is here. KA says so by signing him and not some other guy.

Sad to say it, but this has the very possible ring of truth. Hopefully, Levi is the real deal, but Dhalin is dealing with an extension before any of us are likely to know. That said, Dhalin is under contract for this season and is RFA on July 1. He does not have to sign until sometime after this season ends. Maybe he wants to see what happens.

The fans are loyal and passionate as was the owner. The team never had a loss, but the writing was on the wall - rising salaries and weak Canadian dollar doomed them. The fact that they were the smallest market team in North American sports (except for the Packers - close enough to Milwaukee) and a Francophone city. Montreal had a large English Corporate base and still does, with English language TV, radio and newspapers. Sadly, the above is why there is not likely to be an NHL team in Quebec City ever again.
