I believe this is why KO and Bogo are wearing the A. For right, or wrong, this is Eich's team and he needs to wear the C. Bogo is the real captain of the team, IMO. He is showing it, in general, on the ice. It seems that he and KO and to an extent Eich (although it doesn't seem to be in him at the moment) need to be real leaders off the ice and in the room. @Weave, you are so right. Oh boy, this sounds familiar. I seem to remember that we had this discussion back a few years. It's still a valid question. I think that a big problem is that none of the players, nor the head coach, know what it takes to win consistently in the NHL, especially in the playoffs. I know that Phil was an assistant coach in Nashville, but that appears to be of little help. The question is how much time do they get to figure it out.

I don't think Phil will be fired, nor should he be at this point. The roster still has too many big holes to fairly judge him. I think JBOT feels the same way about his first big hire. Firing Phil now, or even at the end of this season, smacks of desperation.

I am not sure how to post a link on my tablet, but the Tim Hortons guy (Ron Joyce), who was born and raised in NS, has kicked the bucket. Not a fan of the coffee, but RIP. He did a lot of good in the community.

I have always found the date line thing rather confusing with how it works as you approach it from east, or west. I believe you are correct that he Sabres are right bang on Deluca 500.
