Me either, but buying / sending someone a beer is usually viewed as a nice / welcoming thing to do. Initially when the conversion / upgrade to the software happened the 'thank you' thingie was a trophy, IIRC.

Welcome!! I am just venting about the lack of effort by the players who have clearly given up on the season and themselves. That said, the first half was not a true reflection, but it did show what can happen if the players give better effort and lady luck smiles on them. Sent you a beer.

This is a good take on when the season began to unravel and why. +++++ Thanks for getting us going. 36 hours to game time, which probably will not be enough to energize the fanbase, or the players. All the players are terrible at playing as a unit. There are some with exceptional skill at hockey and all are good enough at tit to be playing at the highest professional level. But, they are not a 'team'. I agree with @..., it is the players and not the coach. If you are arrested make sure that one call counts. Again, as with others who attended away games, my advise is that call is to Eleven. He helped out cousin Oliver that one time.

Fair. The lineup is lacking, but what is here has not always been used well. This is a big issue and it is one that we can judge the whole coaching staff on.

For better, or worse, this is Jack's team. I will not pollute this thread with a tirade on how he arrived here. He is the face of the franchise and, therefore, is 'Captain material'. That said, I agree that he is not a leader of this team now. He may develop into that. He is still a kid. As time goes by, I think that he will be the second most talented player on the Sabres. Eventually, Dahlin has a good chance of developing into a real leader of this team, but Jack will still be the face of it and will wear the 'C' for as long as he is here. I can't see the Sabres trading him before his current contract is up. After all we have been through I would not want to trade Jack even for an amazing haul.
