I really don't see this to be the case. I am not over / under rating anyone. I am just very done with Risto as a Sabre.

She really put together a great analysis and really seems to know her stuff. If I am Adams and his staff I really have a difficult decision to make. Shout out to @chloewoj don't be a stranger.

Bump ... Hajj is underway in Arabia. It is a very strange Hajj again this year. Only 60,000 fully vaccinated citizens, or residents, allowed to complete the Hajj. Eid ul Adha (Festival of the Sacrifice) will start at sunset on Monday and mark the end of Hajj. The Islamic New Year (1443) will be about 3 weeks after Eid starts.

I believe this to be all correct. There is no incentive for The Avs to not expose Langeskog. It really appears that the Avs will be losing him in UFA regardless. Seattle has first dibs to sign him, or any other unprotected UFA. They may sign a number of them before the expansion draft, but maybe none. If they do sign anyone they will the, obviously (I think) count in the $50 million in contracts (is that the cap floor?). Anyway, it is pretty clear that Adams has a deal in place, or very close, with Linus, since he is a protected UFA.

I would have protected Borgen and exposed Risto. Protecting Risto has got to mean Adams has a deal worked out for him. That better be the case, or expect Angry NS to show up soon.

Maybe in retirement, but right now he is playing in hockey heaven, the real one. That said, I don't think he would have waived if it was not something that he is okay with, should Seattle draft him.

I really think that they will have a very good team from the start. Maybe not Vegas good, but the league has set up this expansion draft and FA signing period pretty much the same way they did for Vegas, I think.
