Pretty terrible. I don't like our Prime Minister, but don't really trust or like the other guy. I voted NDP. Our sitting MP (Liberal) lost big time ... mostly because she skrewed over all the fishers in our area. What a total waste of time and money. This was the most expensive election ever in Canada ($650 million +) and we are pretty much exactly where we left off. There is virtually no change in the seat allocation at all.

I think this group of youth need a player(s) to lead them on and off the ice. In order to have some overlap in case of injury or something, I suggest that the Sabres do a 'co-captain' thing like with Briere and Drury. One will wear the 'C' at home and the other will wear the 'C' on the road. They will wear an 'A' when the other is wearing the 'C'. I give you the 2021/22 Buffalo Sabre co-captains ... Zemgus Girgensons (home) and Kyle Okposo (away). The other 'A' will be worn by Skinner for all games. Therefore, I voted 'other'.

I love you too, man, but you are wrong on this. You didn't drink the koolaid in 2014 and 2015, so why now. They wanted to keep Linus, but when he bolted KA went with some clowns that will not stand in the way of the development of UPL and others in the system. Same with other position vets. Last season that was tried and it failed. The vets here are good enough and have leadership qualities to serve as mentors to the youth. The kids will win the day, or fail. That has been the plan since the end of last season. This is different. This season was never about winning. They do not need to tank to be bad. The intention is to let the kids develop into a good team. This is a classic rebuild ad the way it should have been done starting in 2014 nstead of a tank. They will have a high draft pick and the goalie situation will not impact that.

They did that in 2015 and look were it got us. The cherry on top was they tried it out in 2014 and look where that got us. Once again, with emphasis ... BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!

There is an ongoing problem with computer chip supply. The run on laptops during the pandemic lockdowns has taken all the supply. The story will be similar everywhere. +++++ Our beloved Acura Legend (1992 ... British Racing Green ... 😎) has a problem. A week ago we were going to take her out for a little tour and she wouldn't start. Had CAA over and they could not figure it out. Battery is new and fine. Seemed to not be cranking over, so maybe no spark. Changed the spark plugs on Saturday (it was needed) and still no go. Call my mechanic and have an appointment booked for 8:00 AM on Wednesday, October 6th. Need to get it towed by CAA at about 6:30 AM. That's gonna be a long and probably expensive and not fun overall day, but hey it's all good. I can't really complain ... just venting a little bit. If I wanted to complain it would be about our recent election here in Canada. Having a little get together with neighbours tomorrow afternoon for just that purpose.

Your case is not strong. I explained the goalie situation and addressed your other points in the other thread. You are really the only one here that is on the tanking rampage. I am not sure if you were here when the Sabres actually did tank, but it is clearly a different situatuion now.

The goalie situation is not good. The Sabres wanted to keep Linus. When he left they needed someone to hold the fort while the kids developed. They said they are going with the youth on the roster and are going to develop them. They said signing veteran centres would disrupt the development of the youth. They tried the vet signing route last year and it failed. They were not going to bring in vets who would disrupt the development of the kids. All the above means that they are going with a rebuild around the youth on the team already and the kids developing in Rochester and other leagues. All this is proof that they are not tanking. Again, you don't seem to understand the term tanking, as all your posts on it illustrate a rebuild.

You do not understand what is involved in tanking. So just leave it alone. Okay? Our roster is not very good right now, but you nailed it with the word 'built'. You do not build for a tank. You are describing a rebuild.
