Great game. Nearly perfect. Perfect enough. Best overall team effort in probably 2 or 3 years. Eakin needs to put at the curb in The Great Satan and not be allowed acrost the border.

I hate Gronk 'cus of his playing in the dastardly town. That said, he still brings it (mostly), so I'll allow him to sign in Buffalo. No more than 2 years.

All the JAGs are there though ... 5 lines today. The Sabres have a full compliment of JAGs on the ice today replacing all the JAGs on injury time outs.

Yous all are being real hard on @nucci here. He is just commenting on what I said. We can all agree that it's obvious that icing a good team will make all the difference and the Sabres know this. They are trying to get there, but it's a very slow process and won't happen over-night. The Sabres are getting close, IMO.

There was no boycott of the Winter Olympics in 1980. I believe the LA games in '84 were boycotted by the Soviets and their puppet states. Did the US and puppet states boycott the '84 Winter games in Sarajevo?
