    Eichle is the most NHL ready 18 yo I've seen in years. Given the choice id choose McDavid.....but eichle really is much more physically stronger, seriously strong, and I really think he has the better shot. (Nasty, accurate, heavy). I think id take McDavid on any breakaway, but I wouldn't be surprised if Eichle out scores McDavid in the first few years of playing in today's NHL.

    I've been in that situation, my mistake was accelerating uphill to pass a truck because I had a bozo three inches from my back bumper. It got me a ticket from Erie County for 68 in a 55. I seem to remember the the the deputy said "tough cookies," to me.

    The thing about fighting. Usually you have a chance to defend yourself. And more times than not a fight is in response to a dangerous play. The real brain scramblers are inside the whistles, the head hits, hits from behind into the boards, or getting caught cutting through the middle. If you take out fighting completely, I don't think it would reduce concussions unless the NHL got serious about suspensions and fines for dirty play. As in 30 game suspensions rather than 3.

    Hitch does a great job of preparing players before the game. He runs a tight system. Inside the game I've never thought he was the best coach. He might actually be a great transitional coach for a year or two. No team should keep Hitch for year 3.
