  2. The question is moot! (Rev. Jesse Jackson) http://www.maniacworld.com/question-is-moot.html I apologize for my unspeakable gaff.
  3. Good job spotting the opinion. ;)
  4. Hockey Genius.
  5. There is no way they get out of the West without a bold move. It really is a mute point, Hertl is unlikely to come off of IR....but this type of move would be what I would be looking for if I where Murray.
  6. I think San Jose has to make some moves. .
  7. I think the underdog move is pairing Erhoff with a vet UFA. Erhoff/Moulson or Erhoff/Ott would be a game-changing package to some team ready to separate from the playoff pack. Look West. Why Erhoff? Though he is a very nice player, I don't think he is the rugged-two way guy that you want to mentor the upcoming class of d-men. He's just not that guy. (personal preference -- I think it would be enough to pry Hertle from San Jose who is locked under a crowded top six. If I'm Murray i'm asking for the price).
  8. Well said. It might be time to flush the medicine.
  9. Great story!
  10. Embarrassing loss.
  11. Not better as much as the better choice. Most of the best scorers in the Olympic tourney play in the East, or have played East. Crosby,MLkin, Ovie, Alfie, all know Miller better than Quick. when you are not a Favorite, the less known keeper is often an advantage in a Tourney. I don't think there was really a bad choice though.
  12. There is nothing he has done besides hiring Murray, Patrick, and bringing in Nolan.- that may sound obvious - but it takes a certain amount of wisdom to know your limitations. Patty could be the GM, but humble enough not to think just anyone, including himself, would be great at it.
  13. That's the story the IOC doesn't want you to hear. Week two is usually a nonstop ######. Athletes breaking training. There are never enough condoms. Literally tens of thousands of free ones aren't enough. The winter games are tamer than the Summer. The athletes call it supporting the Olympic movement.
  14. I didn't see the can't talk drunk stuff. Austrian scandals are kind of lame though. Where are the tales of hookers and blow in Olympic village? c'mon Vanek, the rule is if you are going to screw up go big!
  15. You do realize that most people in jail are there short term or have not been convicted of crimes and are awaiting trial? These folks, like everyone else, have a March 31st deadline.
  16. You mean they are helping prisoners follow the law?
  17. I was cut off by a Canadian at the Galleria during Christmas shopping and only got a verbal apology and a warm handshake in the lot. In hindsight, how sincere could that have been? It is ###### on, Canada. Hear that? It's ###### on.
  18. As I wrote, there is no way to make this look good. However jet lagged players sharing beers until 7am in their home country house when they might normally be out until 3 is really no big deal.
  19. A certain amount of team bonding is usually a good thing. But there is no way to make this story look good.
  20. All that investment on infrastructure and the home country can't settle the puck on bad ice.
  21. Excellent matchup of styles with Finn Russia. As this ice turns to soup advantage Finns. Classic talent vs discipline match.
  22. The blame for Regehr falls squarely on Pegula? Really? What a migraine inducing argument. Turning Chris Bulter, Paul Byron, and Alex Kotalik into three second round picks is Terry's fault? If I understand your argument correctly, I think it limps, farts, wretches, and waddles to a dramatic B movie death.
  23. it changes fast. I wouldn't be surprised if Murray moves both goaltenders this spring. I expect two new roster goalies by next year.
