I’m very interested in seeing how Donnie G adjusts to the Rags in game 2. The Sabres might be playing harder for 6K in that one.

Which parts of the post do you not agree with?

Basically. I have to avoid those types of things to protect myself from an aneurysm.

For people new to message boards, especially one like this one where a lot of the posters are very plugged in, it takes time getting used to. I think a lot of new posters come from places that post things like “Dahlin should be in the AHL!” and “Eichel sucks trade him!” and that’s the basis of those “discussions.” It’s more tirades and emotional outbursts. I really do think the veteran posters here should cut new posters a little slack and understand this is a different environment than most fans are probably used to.

I think what the poster may have been desiring, was a little more reasoning behind you simply stating Marner was better than Bjork. Anyone can just say “pizza > tacos” but why do you think so?

There’s just no creativity there on the PP. Who are the current assistants? Ellis and Girardi? I doubt they have anything to add PP-wise.

I love the olive branch here. Bravo. This place has a reputation for chasing away new posters quickly.

He could’ve been fan of the year last season if he was such a huge fan.

I think both him and his parents would’ve appreciated it more if they did it when he was alive. People shouldn’t have to die to be appreciated or commemorated.

Why did he have to die to be fan of the year? Why couldn’t he have been fan of the year while he was still alive, so he could savor in it?

I didn’t think the game tonight was embarrassing when looking at both lineups. I thought the Sabres were somewhat competitive tonight.

And he’s not going to. The Bastards have a far more veteran team with a lot of players that have played together for years. The Sabres lineup is a lot of young players and patchwork stuff. I’m not disappointed at all with the result. The Sabres tried and this was the best they could get with what they have against who they were playing.

I believe it was 6 years.

He’s been getting shelled all season in the AHL. Getting shelled in the NHL for a game won’t make much difference, I guess. At least he will have a glimpse of the speed and where he needs to go.

I won’t be mad if the Sabres squad of 10 year olds and an AHL goalie lose every Bruins game, as long as they compete in every game.

Super fun game to watch. Reminded me of why I love hockey.

Or, how about, just try to win face offs and not worry about what fancy stats say?
