I don't really like the gameplay in either game, but the Vanguard charge made ME2 more fun for sure.

ME2 was the best? Ugh no. "Didn't have quite the intrigue of the original." is like saying that Brian Flynn doesn't have quite as much skill as Patrick Kane. The story starts with the main character being exploded into space, and then crashing into a planet with an atmosphere, and then being resurrected 2 minutes later with no consequences whatsoever. The story was a mess back and forth. The Legion and Mordin quests were incredibly well written, but everything to do with the main quest is nonsensical and frustrating. The game also does its best to conflict with the amazing conversation with Sovereign in the first game. [this video contains massive Mass Effect 1 spoilers] The second part of the trilogy should be learning about the Reapers, instead you just dick around with the Collectors and the mythos of the first game gets curb stomped at the end.

It's been 3 months since I broke up with my girlfriend. I've been fine, the bad days are much fewer and further between. But Sunday was bad. I was looking through my hard drive and stumbled on a bunch of old pictures of us. Somehow, Sunday grew into the worst week ever. Despite how well I've been distracting myself with Better Call Saul and the Kane trade, I still can't stop thinking about her. I couldn't sleep last night, so I had a couple of beers and didn't resist the insomnia for once. Sleep never came, so I figured I would just head into class and make up the sleep later. Cleverly, I managed to fall asleep right before heading into my first class and wake up during my last class. I haven't even been up to the pond for a skate this week. No time, and I never feel up to it anyways. Blech. Love is madness, lust is poison.

Dishonored was so good. And so disappointing. It's just like Bethesda to make a beautiful game that's fun to play with terrible voice acting and little to no soul. Really liked the Daud character. though. The DLC where you played as him was awesome. I tried to get into Skyrim three seperate times now. The role playing aspect of the game is pretty shallow, and all the quests basically revolve around going to a dungeon and killing mooks. The dialogue is mind-numbingly bad and rarely offers you anything clever to say. The game plays well, though. Slinking through a dungeon with a bow, or dashing around smashing things with a hammer are equally rewarding. I'm not crazy about the magic system. And it's beautiful, of course. Oh, Bethesda.

Silent Hill 2 System Shock 2 Bioshock, and Infinite Half Life, Half Life 2, episodes, yadda yadda Portal and Portal 2 Team Fortress 2 Battle for Middle Earth II Minecraft CoD 4 GTA: Vice City and GTA: 3 (Vice is best) Deus Ex, and Deus Ex Human Revolution Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 3 (NV is so much better) Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind SSX Tricky Mass Effect (just the first one) EV Nova Diablo II The Sims (just the first one) Childhood inclusions: Ocarina, Wind Waker, and Majorah's Mask. I love them all equally. I've had a lot of fun with TP and Skyward Sword, but I still haven't played through either of them all the way through. Goldeneye Counter Strike Mario 64 (galaxy 1 and 2 are both awesome as well), Mario 2, Mario 3, Mario World, Super Mario Bros Wii (particularly awesome for my family because we are four siblings) Super Smash Bros. I like the N64 version most, then GC, then Wii. Mario Kart. The N64 was the version of my childhood. The GC was the version of my physics class in high school (8 way races!). The Wii version is awesome and the most readily available these days. Adventure Island 1080 Snowboarding Games in bold have stolen a part of my soul. Right now I'm mostly playing Hearthstone and New Vegas. Just recently freshly modded New Vegas, and am excited to start some new characters. I'm contemplating a no kill run. And props to sizzle for Wii bowling. Good call.

Troof. This trade is beautiful. So many moving parts. It's a hockey nerd's dream and our team got the best player out of it. First of all, good work everyone. It has been wonderful sharing today with you all. It really is a shame that GoDD went all David Clarkson and got himself suspended for a while, he would've been a riot today. I really like how this trade gives 4 NHLers a much needed change of scenery. -Stafford (13th overall) - A fine 3rd line winger who can fill in on the second line in a pinch. -Myers (12th overall) - A good #2/3 defenseman with great physical tools and the potential to be a game breaker. -Bogosian (3rd overall) - A good #2/3 shutdown defenseman. Much more physical than Myers. Also has a decent offensive game from what I hear (haven't seen much of him). -Evander Kane (4th overall) - We all know about him by now. Top line power forward, talks to money. Myers and Stafford were similarly frustrating players to watch for much of my Sabres fandom. When I started becoming a hardcore hockey fan in 2009-2010, Stafford was having his career year and Myers won the Calder. Stafford has the talent and the size, but somehow manages to be reality-bendingly useless. Myers has the talent and is just growing into his man body, but he doesn't have the edge, and maybe he doesn't have the noggin. The Calder Trophy and the massive contract Darcy gave him really skewed the lens through which fans saw him (and that in turn messed with his head). I still think he'll have a nice long career. Bogosian never had off ice issues like Kane, but Winnipeg fans are predictably disappointed that he's not Brad Doty II given where he was drafted. He gets a fresh start with a fan base that loves hard hitting, hard working players. Just about everything has been said about Kane's fresh start, so I won't repeat. All four of these guys can now just focus on playing their game. Their new fan bases are eager to learn what kind of players they are on the ice, and we don't have to watch Drew Stafford anymore. Unfortunately we've gotta finishing sharting, so we'll just get a look at Bogosian for now. This offseason and next year is going to be a blast, folks. And Drew Stafford got traded!

Every decent person in the world is going to be pissed if the Leaves get the #1 pick. And it is a pleasure to have the entire florida panther fanbase on the board with us. Welcome.
