I agree that the maps were fun. Half the fun came with how broken they were. I have fond memories of glitching around them in private matches with my friends. The huge ones were also great for games of hide and seek. But as far as being good maps for competitive matches? No way. They were designed to benefit camping and generally drove me mad. WaW was the least balanced of them all. The guns you unlocked at level 65 were significantly better than the guns you started with. Bouncing betties were absurdly OP. The vehicles were a joke. I remember dudes in tanks regularly getting 20+ kill streaks. Just hated that game.

I'll admit to despising the Call of Duty series now, but back in middle school and high school I spent hundreds of hours playing them. My rankings for the games I've played a lot: 1) Modern Warfare 2) Modern Warfare 2 3) Black Ops 4) WaW MW was a perfectly balanced masterpiece. It's up there with Counter Strike, the fps of my childhood and TF2, the fps of my manhood.

Don't close it just yet. I'm working on a little something to mark this momentous occasion.

Welllll, we did get a first for Paul Gaustad. It's very unlikely to be a seller's market, though, so I'll agree. And Stewart has played like hot garbage the last couple of games.

That team was exciting. Myers's rookie year? C'mon.

The last time the team wasn't groan inducing was 2010-2011. After that there were some good moments, but I could never shake the sinking feeling that our team didn't have it.

When was the last time we had a power forward like Kane? And wow does he have wheels.

HAHAHAHAHA. Darcy knew how to trade the UFAs on deadline day, that's for sure. Exciting trade. Sad to see Myers and Armia go, but that's the price you pay. We accelerated Armia's development by about ~4 years, and gave him a grit and off-ice issues transplant. Assuming he was going to develop at all (I think he'll be a good top 6 player). To do so, we traded a 2nd, a 1st, and an infection. Then we straight up traded Myers for Bogosian. Seems steep but fair to me. Helps Winni right now and in the future, balances the Sabres' organization, and rids us of Stafford. I LOVE having a real GM.

Rob Ray was a riot during the first period tonight. Slamming the team left right and center for not going hard. Patty Kaleta was awesome tonight, getting the team and the crowd going. I heard a decent Let's Go Buffalo chant after the Myers goal.

I agree with the first part, not so much the second part. He's playing soft tonight. Gorges is quietly playing a nice game, as per usual.

Yeah Myers! Good hop by Girgensons. That was the most excited I got for a goal in a while. After the puck stopping on the line and the phantom goalie interference call, they really deserved that one.

He's been really good tonight. Playing for that trade. Flynn has been more useless than usual lately. That;s saying something.

I've been watching him play. If you think that it's normal for a 2nd pairing defenseman to struggle that consistently in his own end, then you've been watching too much Sabres hockey.

He's buying that extra second for himself this year, it's awesome. I love me some Ennis and am flabbergasted when people want to trade him for Kane. Ennis was almost ruined by Ruff. Nonsense. He scored 20 goals in his first full NHL season.
