That was the worst run I've ever seen Ted Shred make. He looked asleep. Didn't attack any turns. He has 1 good 4 turn sequence. The rest was trash. He's toast.

Just finished my first day skiing. Back on the mountain for the first time in 8 years. I didn't realize how much I actually missed it. Skiing has always been my most beloved sporting activity and after being on the snow for about 6 seconds I remembered why. God, I love the feeling. Stomped a 540 for the kids in the park on my last run. Ok, it was more for me, but they thought it was cool. :)

Seems completely reasonable.

Going to look at houses is awesome. Walking through them, imagining your life in them. Picturing grilling in the back yard, or relaxing in what would be my man cave, screaming at the TV. Figuring out how your going to put the furniture in the living room. Loving all the extra space it has over your tiny little town house. It was awesome! Me acting like a diva when the place didn't have a garage. Refusing to look at places without yards. It's my world when I'm house shopping. Everyone else is just living in it. Lol And my realtor kicked ass. She was awesome. Helped us avoid a lot of potential headaches.

I will say it again. I loved house shopping. And I also love car shopping. I love looking, putting in the offer, renegotiating the offer, them accepting the bid. Everything after that sucks, though.

I'm a gun owner and I have absolutely no idea what the background check included. I gave the guy at the gun store my licence, he called a phone number, I filled out a 1 page form and I walked out with my pistol. It took 10 minutes. I have no idea what was checked. I wasn't required to take a safety course of any kind. I am licenced to concealed carry.

The cop in my son's elementary school carried an adorable little Glock 42. A cute little .380 single stack subcompact. Ya know, small children and all. Now that the boy is in highschool they carry .40 cal. Jonesboro, Arkansas was crazy. It's been ridiculous since Columbine. I've been numb to it since Virginia Tech. I'm sure I don't remember the last 3, or the 30 before that.

When they get into a turn late they will kick up more snow. Late is slow and bad. Turn early and don't throw your arms out like airplane wings and you'll be fast.

Watch their feet. Good GS skiers fire from one inside edge to the other so effortlessly. Upper body should be quiet. Mikaela with an OK run. She's going to need to take more risks in her second run if she wants a medal.

The rink I play hockey at has a curling league. They have learn to curl and stuff like that. Idk, it just never interested me. I mean, I'll play shuffleboard if I'm drinking at a VFW, but that's about it. Now that I'm putting more thought into it, I'd probably like it. It's like shuffleboard, darts and bocce, with a bit of house cleaning thrown in. I like 3 of those things.

For what it's worth, I thought PA's commentary was hilarious.

I'm going skiing this weekend. The Olympics have me all jacked up. I haven't been on a mountain in 8 years. I just had to go buy new pants, poles and goggles. I can't friggin wait for Saturday. Hopefully I get some good pics to post. My son is currently watching curling and yelling at the competitors. The kid won't watch hockey, football or baseball on TV, but he'll watch curling. Amazing.

Shoot, my taxes in Pennsylvania are at least half of what they'd be in CNY. Housing prices from CNY to North East PA are about the same, and way cheaper than Fort Worth evidently. And I'm with Wild Card, I like stairs. Raised ranch, bi-level, daylight basement, 2 story, whatever you wanna call it. I like having stairs. And a garage is always on my list of must haves.

I had the game on and I never even thought to talk about it. Here or anywhere. I can't bring myself to care at all about men's ice hockey in these Olympics. I'm not sure why.
